How long has the thermometer been around
It is so cool learning about things we take for granted, thermometers being one of them! So fascinating!
The centigrade has one hundred steps on the thermometer.
the whole thermometer story was pretty interesting
I didn’t know that the name for Celsius was named after a person.
0 degree for boiling and 100 degrees for freezing is crazy.

My mom is glad you didn’t actually show the newly discovered spider that looks like fungus. If I am being 100 percent honest, the newly discovered ocean creatures are stunning but creepy too :/

Fun fact of the week. If you were to drop a 7 KG bowling ball into the sea right over the ma Mariana Trench, it would reach the bottom of Challenger Deep in around 2 hours and 20 minutes.

How do we know exactly what the temperature is or what it will be before it is there? There technically is no way to tell if the temperature that we get is the exact temperature have you ever realized that we get told that it is going to be on temperature and sometimes it is no where close to what e are told it is going to be.

We’ve only discovered 5% of the ocean, however I feel like we have discovered a lot of the creatures given that most of it is open ocean which has little to no life
