Inside the Acellus Science Fair 2026
This was the biggest Acellus Science Fair ever! In this episode, we showcase the most creative and impressive projects from elementary, middle, and high school students around the world.
From soda geysers and Arduino-powered tackle dispensers to a teen driving safety simulator, a biogas generator solving power outages in Puerto Rico, and an AI app that identifies bacteria with 92% accuracy — these young inventors are solving real-world problems with science and engineering.
Plus: The incredibly inspiring story of Acellus graduate Tyler Scott, who continued his studies from a hospital bed while battling terminal leukemia — and walked out cancer-free.
Also featured:
• NASA’s X-59 supersonic jet breaks the sound barrier for the first time (and it’s quieter than you’d expect)
• The explosive history of fireworks, just in time for America’s birthday
Acellus students are proving that anyone can be an inventor. Which project impressed you the most?

I really enjoyed learning about how fireworks were invented, and about where they originally came from
this is so cool
I really liked seeing all the great science projects and the different ideas from all of the kids. It was interesting learning where fireworks come from and how they are made.
who won the science fair this year????
Awesome inventions!!
Wonderful science live as usual!
Hello from Texas!
I liked learning about fireworks.
I enjoyed the fireworks segment, the invention of things that are familiar to us now is always interesting to hear.
the science fair stuff looks good.
I loved this science live, and sometimes when a new thought or, “invention”, pops into my head, I always think about how someone else could have made it already. Love from Texas!
awesome video!!!
The science fair Project by Wiiliam is really cool!! It seems helpful and since it can detect the distance and give a vibration to help people who are blind “see” and know that something is in front of them!!! Great job William!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Woah,truly amazing.
hi from Vilca! So cool
I am going on a trip soon in an airplane so it was cool to hear about them!
This live was great!
Very interesting about jets that go supersonic speeds.
Science Live is awesome!
Very cool live! 😀
The cockpit of NASA’s X-59 Quest experimental aircraft is unique because it does not have a forward-facing window.
Because the plane is designed with an incredibly long, pointed nose to suppress sonic booms, the pilot’s forward line of sight is entirely blocked by the aircraft’s frame. To fix this, NASA and Lockheed Martin had to get creative.
I didn’t know that there was a constant sonic boom, or that China made gunpowder. Some of those science fair projects look awesome.
cool projects
Hello from the big mn*
thank you
Thanks!
jets are cool
Hi Dr.B and Pajet!
