Integrity in Education
In this episode of Science Live, Dr. Roger Billings delivers a powerful and personal message on integrity in education — and why real knowledge is always worth the work.
Then explore the breathtaking science behind bald eagles — from their extraordinary 20/4 vision and UV light detection to the winglet technology inspired by eagle feathers now used on commercial aircraft.
Plus, discover the remarkable recovery story of how bald eagles were brought back from fewer than 420 nesting pairs to over 70,000 today — one of the greatest endangered species success stories in American history.

I bet a eagle could spot a cheater.
im so glad eagles are not endangered anymore, they are fascinating species and such a big part of our country.
It is NOT okay to pay someone to do work,
but the guy that did admit he got paid to do courses did a good thing to tell Dr. Billings.
I have a message to any student who will read this:
Your parents or guardians are PAYING MONEY, THEIR MONEY THAT THEY EARNED, to pay for YOUR EDUCATION.
Please, please, DO NOT make parents waste money on an education if your not going to learn it.
The fact that people are paying others to do their stuff is sad. I personally feel like when you do something and get a good grade with it, it’s exciting and makes me happy. :/. But not everybody has that point of view.
Eagles? Yeah, America!
I learned eagles have a wingspan of 6-8 feet wide.
Great science live as usual! It is so depressing that students feel the need to cheat just to get their school work done and diploma faster!! Anyways, byee
Was really neat learning about eagles today! (also people being paid to do other people’s work is kinda disgusting)
It breaks my heart to hear that people would pay others to their work just to get a diploma, also glad that eagles aren’t going extinct.
I appreciate Dr Billings comment about having integrity meaning having self respect and honor because it’s important to cultivate work habits to meet goals that will carry into the future.
As someone with not so good eyesight, I’m so jealous of eagles!!
Eagles are S0 C00L.
Eagles are so cool – and so is integrity! Thank you!
The eagles getting the drones was so cool! Great Science Live!
I really don’t know why anyone would cheat on these courses. Acellus is so great and so easy. I love how eagles have made such a comeback I mean over 70,000 now that’s a comeback.
I absolutely love hearing other students opinions about Acellus and how much it helps them get through school
We are naming R-51’s Eagle Yoshi
Gracie from Kentucky! This is a great episode to come back to after my short summer break. I am still in disbelief that people would pay to have others do their work! I don’t know what I want to do after I graduate from high school, but Acellus has encouraged me to breath in knowledge and be the best that I can be. I have terrible vision, if only I had eagle eyes.
loved how the eagle was missing the back also love science live keep up the good work. from carter in alabama
I’m sorry people are cheating, that’s not right to do.
it’s almost the 250 anniversary of America.
Really enjoyed learing about eagles today. One of my most favorite birds.
What an awesome bird to represent the US
I love eagles 🦅 they are very fascinating creatures
thank you for live today it helps alot for me and i will study hard.
Eagles taking down drones! Awesome!
The sun is extremely damaging to Bald eagle’s eyes and they don’t like to look up. That’s a cool fact!
I love area 51, so funny
That’s awful that people are cheating on their school work.
I feel like if we had Ani-cheating everything would work better
Thats crazy that someone would pay for their education, and then pay more on top of that for someone else to get educated. Your basically paying double the price of an education for nothing at all!
Hello from California! I absolutely love the science lives every single week! Thank You!
Wow bald eagles are really amazing, I always love the episodes that are about animals! I think we can get a lesson and a message out of every animal, so can you do more episodes about animals?
I find it cool how an 11 year old is in 10th grade with a 4.0. gpa.
Eagles are so neat! Thank you for a great science live. Hello from SD
Thanks, it was nice to learn about eagles, and that last bit was very encouraging.
To cheat is a despicable and unhonorable thing to do you should always just try your best.
I feel like this live was way deeper than just eagles and cheating…a lot of what was said in the end had a meaning that can run so much deeper than school work! Hi from New York!
Wonderful Science Live
Love science live and hope that people learn that cheating is not the way if you can not do a thing learn to do it.
I can’t believe they go 99 to 100 mph!!!
Dr. Billings, I don’t understand why someone would even cheat themselves! They’re paying for it and then robbing themselves of what it is supposed to do for them.
Dr. Tobias, were other types of eagles also harmed by the pesticide?
I love science live so much it teaches me so much new things!
Dr. John, how do you secure the eagles so they only operate in one area? I can’t imagine that would be easy to do.
We are really lucky that bald eagles live all around us and we see them every day.
I love how there are so many bald eagles in the U.S. now! I also agree with a diploma not being worth anything if it’s not properly earned.
I love the saying, “When going gets hard, the good gets going!”
I like ACELLUS and to learn new things than you for teaching me .
This was a great show! Me and mom enjoyed this a lot.
Props to Violeta! I’ve been doing Acellus for two years, but she’s been at it since she was Kindergarten! Although, this makes me wonder what Acellus Gold was like before the 2020’s. Was it basically like it is now? Were the courses different in some way? Either way, it must’ve been fun if she spoke so highly of everything! She even developed passions for technology, and science!
Being honest and putting in effort helps us become better students and humans!
so cool
Thank you for caring Dr. Billings
How is the year almost over and it’s june?? Will there be science live over the summer?
Wish I had vision like eagles and could fly too haha
The fact that people are paying to not learn and have others do there work is crazy, education will be the thing that makes or breaks who you are and what you can be in this world
loved this science live!❤️
r-51, you’re hilarious😂
Hi from Thailand! I watch science live every week and I must say this one was in my top 10 favorites. Our Animal in Thailand is Elephants but this science live made me love eagles haha.🤣🤣
These new airplane designs just might take off!
Hi I am Geno and I been doing school all by my self not paying anyone and I will not do it 🙂
Will there be Acellus World 2027?
R-51 is the funniest!
Wow, it is absolutely insane to pay someone to do your work. Acellus is such a great opportunity to learn and experience. To waste that opportunity for just a diploma with your name on it isn’t worth it. Thank you Dr. Billings for the motivation and all that you do.
i love drb
thanks for teaching me why integrity in education is important
I love eagles!
This was a very important topic, I’m glad you have discussed it.
We all needed to hear this. It is so true in our life that people will give you the easy way out.. I have learned so much from a Acellus,.Thanks for caring about us.
from Colorado to Dr. R, Hi, I know that its been sad lately because of all the cheating going on before and now, but maybe we can have a camera to identifie the face of a student and see if they are the same person. bye, Adam
I was trying to do Science live yesterday while playing with our chicks, and when it showed the eagle, my sister goes “Look Green bean it’s your mom.” P.S. She named the chick Green bean.
That sounds like a brilliant idea! However, knowing a camera is watching you 24/7 while you work is kind of creepy. I think that the students’ parents should be more on top of what their students are doing and then they can contact the school to help with the solving the issues. Of course, not all parents will be available. Maybe the Parent App can have an option to set locations as to where the student can login, so if someone outside the set region tries to logon, they’ll receive a popup message saying they can’t login and the system will just keep them out.
Eagles are so cool!
Great show
I can’t believe people would pay others to do their school work for them.
Awesome learning about over 70,000 pairs of eagles helped using science. Amazing!!
Hi from vegas!
As a person with HORRIBLE vision, i have to say im jealous of the eagles haha
Loved todays lesson! especially since it was about eagles!
The eagles are extremely intresting
Eagles eyes are way better than ours because they have a lot of light responders.
I loved this science live! See you next week!
Hi! I like sparrows, to be honest. Them and red-chested robins. There is a lot of them here in Illinois. I hope no more birds end up like the dodos. I also just found out while posting this that you have to put ‘-‘ between the sections of the ID. I wondered why my posts were not showing up!
This was so interesting! I loved the eagle!
I never knew eagles could be so facinating
I liked this lesson! especially since it was eagle related!

How long did it take to design the dual engine?

Hello from Wisconsin!!
Eagles are one my favorite birds(and the United States favorite too).I always love learning about birds especially this one that represents my freedom and home. Ameri-caw!!!!
I’m really glad that we observed nature and used that to improve our aviation techniques. Geniuses!!!
I never knew that bald eagles’s names derived from something else! I always thought that it was really that their heads almost looked bald.
Eagles brows also make them look fierce, and like Tobias stated ” so they can glare.”;)
They are some of the most majestic creatures like he also noted.
I’m really glad that we were able to conserve and protect these amazing patriotic animals. Together, we can rise to continue to promote them . They are so pretty!!!! Happy 250th birthday, America! I love you.
This live was so cool!!!!!
