Integrity in Education

In this episode of Science Live, Dr. Roger Billings delivers a powerful and personal message on integrity in education — and why real knowledge is always worth the work.

Then explore the breathtaking science behind bald eagles — from their extraordinary 20/4 vision and UV light detection to the winglet technology inspired by eagle feathers now used on commercial aircraft.

Plus, discover the remarkable recovery story of how bald eagles were brought back from fewer than 420 nesting pairs to over 70,000 today — one of the greatest endangered species success stories in American history.

Bald eagles got their name from having white heads. The wing span of an adult eagle can reach up to six to eight foot. The eyebrows help shade their eyes from the suns glare. From year to year they build their nest bigger and bigger .
