In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings introduces Inventioneering—the blend of creativity and engineering that turns ideas into reality. But inventioneering isn’t just for scientists and engineers—it can be applied to any career or project. Students are invited to take on a special challenge: design and submit their own t-shirt for a chance to have it featured in the Acellus Store!

So I noticed there was a new UI for the comments (as far as I noticed). How interesting… Well anyway, I honestly look forward to Todd Edmond’s conspiracy course. I may not be one to believe conspiracies, but I am willing to keep an open mind this one time, as I really do enjoy his courses. I will highly consider this course.
As for the T-shirt logo, here’s what I came up with. Sure, it’s a relatively simple pencil sketch, I know, but it should convey the idea.

I designed a shirt whose style I liked and thought would be a good design to share. I will upload two images. One is a rough sketch of the design of the shirt, and the second is an AI generated version to represent a realistic version of it. There are, though, two mistakes on the second image. The word “Knowledge” is misspelled and should be on the left sleeve of the shirt above the cuff line with “Acellus” on the right sleeve. The “A” is the back of the shirt.

I really liked this episode!
I created a rough sketch of an idea I had for a shirt design that I personally like the style of, and decided to submit it. I’m going to submit two designs, one that is the rough sketch as well as one I made with AI to represent a realistic design of it. The only problem with the second design is that the word “Knowledge” was misspelled, and it is meant to be on the left sleeve above the cuff line, so that “Acellus” is written on the right sleeve and “Knowledge” on the left sleeve. I hope you like the design.

I tried as best as I can. This is the shirt I came up with.
Hi, I am very late to this but I hope that you guys can still look at mine! It is on the back a picture of R51 saying “I invented Pumpkin Day!” and then a voice (Dr Billings AKA big r) saying “No you didn’t!” Then in quotes “if you want to invent something you need a problem.” Oh and the classic lady P by r51. The shirt can come in camo, black, grey, or blue. On the front is says Acellus diagonally. With little atoms floating around, anyways that’s about all I hope y’all like it!

Hello! My name is Romina. I was inspired after hearing about the shirt design competition on Science Live! While looking through the Acellus Store I realized that we don’t really have a school mascot, and I thought that Tobler and AC-D2 could be perfect since everyone already knows them. It’s like when people get together over a character or thing they love. When students share that love for something it helps bring the community closer together! I created some designs featuring Tobler and ACD2 and a “Class of” shirt that could be costumized with each students graduation year. I also made some funny designs based on AI jokes, like CatGPT because I misread ChatGPT once. I really think there’s so much potential for Acellus merch with a mascot, and I think it would look awesome too on notebooks, water bottles, mugs, and backpacks

I think graffiti looks cool so we tried to think of a shirt that would show that science can be cool for everyone. Hi! My name is Hollie. I am friends with a couple other students of Acellus Academy, who are seniors, but also athletes. Im sure there are tons of athletes who attend Acellus. I myself am an athlete. I thought it would be fun to create a jersey type of shirt. Jersey material. The front would say Acellus Academy. The right shoulder sleeve would have an American Flag on it, the left size would have the Acellus logo. And rhe back would say Class of ” “. The athlete would get to customize the number only to what year they graduate. I understand Acellus doesnt have sports and everything, but I think it would be so cool to have this in the shops. The jersey sleeves would be light gray. And the jersey would be navy blue,and fade into a lighter blue as it goes down. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER MY SHIRT. Hey, I am Shyann! My shirt idea is this: The main color is black with a math grid(X-axis and Y-axis). To show the picture, it will be a white, yellow, or golden color. It will have an “u” on the upper half, and it center point will be at (0,0). The lower half will be an upside down “u” with its’ center point at (0,0). At the very bottom of the picture or underneath it, it will say, “You reflect U.” Why that? Take a look at reflection. It has the word “reflect” in it which has a similar meaning to mirror. A mirror can show you in it, causing a reflection. In informal text messages, people use “U” instead of “You.” So, if you combine these ideas together, it comes out like that. In another way of saying, “You reflect U,” it can be this: “You are the only to show people who you are; You can only show you.”

What is invetioneering and it is a job?
I thought that the lesson about the Kodak camera was really interesting. It shows how just one faulty wire can make or break the outcome of an amazing invention.

Today in the “Technology Spotlight” I learned a lot about ultrasound and sonograms and I think that a 4 dimensional sonogram is an incredible idea and from the images and clips Dr. John showed in the video I believe that this would be very useful and accurate (for humans of course not just pigs).

I did not know about coding statistics and how beneficial coding is for students. I thought it’s super cool we’ve added a intro to coding course to acellus! I learned a lot about cameras and how they started off as something much bigger then the small cameras we have today. I’d love to take the conspiracy theory course with Dr. Edmond. To begin with, it is cool that Todd Edmond is on this episode Todd Edmond is a very smart teacher, and I think that he could become the next Roger Billings. Also, it is so amazing how much NASA has improved. For example, in the start of NASA . For example, NASA they could have not made such a awesome aircraft like the one they just made NASA has come a long way and NASA is only going to get better from here.

I love watching the Roger Billings Scholarship Program. I enjoyed that Dr. Billings has dedicated his life to advancing education through technology.
Inventioneering is about coming up with new ideas and turning them into real things that can help people or make life easier. It’s kind of like being an inventor and an engineer at the same time because you get to imagine something and then figure out how to build it. Also can’t wait to see the new t-shirts!
Wednesday is my favorite day of the week. Why, you ask? Science Live. I live for Acellus. I was BORN for it. First thing I think about when I wake up? Acellus. Last thing I think about before going to sleep? Acellus. When I’m dreaming? Also Acellus. It’s all I do. Science Live is the highlight of my week, EVERY week. I eagerly wait for hours, ticking down the seconds until the show starts. I cook a Thanksgiving-esque feast every Wednesday in honor of Science Live. And I have a shrine set up in the corner of my room to the biology teacher Mark Rogers, too. Thank you so much Acellus, I love you!!! <3 ;^) I love the sonogram machine

Also, there should be a more advanced library option in Acellus for high school students to read the works of other students, collaborate on a story, and write their own tale. A more age appropriate version without teddy bear stickers, haha.
