How to Build a Computer That Can’t Be Hacked
Join Dr. Roger Billings for a fascinating look at computer security and the challenge of building computers that can’t be hacked. Dr. Billings explores why data breaches keep happening and reveals his bold vision for a completely new approach to cybersecurity — including innovative technologies built from the ground up for security: the Hyperium server, fs.ix operating system, GoRilla database, J3DI workstations, and the GoldKey authentication system.
Plus, get a sneak peek at Acellus’s upcoming course America: The Forging of a Nation, filmed on location at historic Philadelphia sites in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.

I think absolutely sir that yes, it is more beneficial to everyone to have computers that are unable to be hacked. I also thought it was really funny when Dr. Pajet just ran out at the beginning, but I’m glad she came back. Also I would just like to say that I am very interested in the conspiracy theories class and intend on taking it when I finish with my current ones. Can’t wait!

It was nice to learn about what you would need for an unhackable computer!
Awesome video this week.
very interesting, yet very cool!
Dr. Roger Billings, Iliked how you talked about computer security to show why it needs to be stronger because, if hackers get through your firewall everything inside of the device they can control. I also am glad you talked about a quantum computer and how it doesn’t just give all the information after someone gets past the first firewall.
thank you i enjoyed science live.
Hola from Texas..
Can you belive that my sister’s school got hacked ! We just had talked about it last week and then.. boom it happened.. crazy.
So innovative! 🙂
It seems impossible to have a computer that can’t be hacked. Maybe it could happen if a hacker built it.

That’s already possible with software apps that prevent hackers.
Interesting topic. I don’t think the internet will ever be a safer place though. I hope I can take the
America: The Forging of a Nation course. Mr. Moderator, I have a question for you (I’m sorry, but I forgot your name – I know I heard Mr. Billings mentioned it several Science Lives ago and I’ve gone back several times to try to find it, but I can’t). My question is: Will subscribers on power homeschool have access to take the America: The Forging of a Nation class or is it just for the people who pay for the acellus? Thank you. Mr. Billings, I’m interested in the conspiracy theory course. I’ve asked my mom to put it on my list, but she says she can’t find it.
