Is the gold key card similar technology that the military uses for the Common access card, and the PIV card that federal employees use? If so, what will the school do to correct issues that arise when the certificates expire on the card, or if information is input incorrectly and students can’t access the site because of errors that were beyond the student’s control? My parents are retired military and we still deal with these issues even with the retired IDs.
Mr. Billings is amazing ! Thank you for explaining about the gold key. I can’t wait for the student ID card. So neat that they are made in Kansas city buy the students. Thank you for putting them in the store.

what happens if someone pickpockets your key and plugs it in a computer and gets your data?
Using cryptography for the gold key insures all protection which can involve writing a message and sending it out so other people can unlock with the message as well.

That’s actually interesting; if somebody somehow obtained my GoldKey, they still would be unable to get through due to not having an extra password. It’s like security on top of security.

While the Goldkey could be a very easy way to access your valuables and keep hackers from stealing your money, I’m a bit worried about it being robbed/stolen. Do you have an authentication process to use the card or some sort of locking mechanism like with a credit card?
