I had no idea that butterflies only lived 2-3 weeks on average. Thats so sad. I was also really impressed the different cocoons and how some camouflaged and some were bright indicating they didn’t taste good.
If they did have the host plants and these butterflies could lay eggs would they ever cross breed with so many different kinds of butterflies around?

Monarch Butterflies are my favorite and I just love how beautiful they are. Because I saw one on one of my walks and it was so beautiful, and people are always saying don’t look at their eyes but there eyes are so magnificent. Glasswing butterflies are my ultimate favorite!- It’s because they are the most unique I’ve ever seen. They are NOT normal. Even though you cannot see any veins, their wings are see-through!!! That’s why I favor them.

I loved learning about how some of the butterflies only eat nectar and others only eat from rotten fruit. Butterflies are so unique, and I want to visit a place like this one day!
Milkweed plants are so beautiful! I will be planting those in my garden so that we can have a bunch of butterflies because butterflies are also beautiful.

I went to a butterfly botanical garden in Colombia (Calarca, Quindio, website-jardinbotanicoquindio.org) and the butterfly house is the shape of a butterfly as well. There were hundreds if not thousands of butterflies everywhere. So many different kinds in size, and in colors. They would land on your head, face, hands so delicately. It was really magical.

I watched this for Scholarship credit. Also, a butterfly class would be cool, but I would love an animal class!! Like a zoology or veterinary class, talking about animals act, what they feed on, where they live, and how many species there are. Also with really cool facts like how koalas have TWO thumbs!

My sister and I adore butterflies. We’ve observed an orange butterfly at three different stages of development, as there were several butterflies within the same group, each at varying stages. and i was like omg ive never seen anything like it so this video is very cool. 😁👍💕💕
