The Egyptians made special capstones for the pyramids, called pyramidions, made of highly polished stone and occasionally covered in gold. What is interesting about that is during the day, the sun would reflect off of the pyramidions and literally make the pyramids look like the stars in Orion’s Belt from a bird’s eye view.
