What exactly did the laser do that made the tubes hydrophobic?
This episode was interesting and easy to follow.
Was the man who invented ultra-red inspired or wanted to use ultra-red light or did he just want to prove its existence?
At first I seen decade counter and I was confused but he did a good job at explaining and it really made sense

this episode was fun! :))
that breakthrough that makes metal immune to water what if you make robots that can go in to water and not worry about the circuits geting wet.
I thought this weeks episode of Science Live was astonishing. My favorite part was the technology spotlight with Dr. John. I never knew that water spider even exists, and it using such a amazing technique with their webs is amazing. The way engineer’s are trying to apply hydrophobic tendencies to something like metal. Using this new discovery for ship building sounds extremely interesting, and they could also apply this technique for planes so that when they crash perhaps they could floating above water giving the everyone extra time to be rescued. I loved today’s episode and I can’t wait to see you and the rest of the team next week Mr. B!
I never heard of a binary decade counter.

After a horrible storm in my area, I’ve been out of power and wifi. But now that’s restored, I’m glad to be back for this Science Live
I loved this science live! It was so cool to learn about the water spiders
It’s interesting that colors have different temperatures. I knew that the reds, and oranges,
and yellows were called “warm colors”, and that the green, blues, and purples were called “cool colors”.
But I didn’t know the reason they were called that was because colors actually have different temperatures.
That’s pretty cool!
The decade counter, the flip flop, the 7-segment display, the 7-segement driver, and 555 was so cool to learn about.
I don’t like spiders. I am arachnophobic.

I LOVE ACELLUS
I already knew a lot about wavelengths and the infrared and ultraviolet scale, and this helped me remember some more of it. Another interesting thing was hearing about the water spider and how it survives by the bubble/web it creates. The thing that really caught my eye was learning about the different circuits and how they work. The most interesting thing was learning about a flip flop and how it works. I never knew how many different circuits there actually were and that they all worked differently.
Science live is fun!
I love spiders. And now I thank the water spider is now my favorite one. By the way, my birthday is tomorrow
I wonder if they can make something bigger float.
