Comets AND trains are very cool! Happy National Inventors Day!
The integrated circuit contest was very interesting.
I love science live
I thought it was fun to learn about IC’s, breadboards next would be cool though.
The science fair looks super cool!
I thought the computer was cool
it’s cool how tiny they were able to make the transistor thing from being on a big piece of cardboard to a little thing that looks like a robotic bug
I love the way he included his third grade creation, and how he drove a road and a highways. That was cool how he said all that before we has it and now we have all that.
Science live is my fav thing to look forward to!!!
I want to be an inventor like Dr.B
I hope to invent something one day.
Learning about comets was very cool.
Maybe you could name it “Plasma Dragon,” because of the plasma trail and how big it is! Also, maybe you should let the proteges do their thing, because they are extremely entertaining and it teaches amazing things.
lovely video. so many fun facts
What is an integrated circuit and where is it used?
can’t wait for the next one!
I really hope we get to see the comet!
Calling in from Kentucky, how is everyone today? I am in 8th grade writing.
Hello from MA!!
I didn’t know that today was national inventors day so that was really cool to find out
Hello Science Live.
Let’s go Dr. Tobias Dr. Jphn.
I never thought about bullet train safety like that. Awesome video!
Wow, I never learned about the structure of comets before. That was interesting.

This was a really interesting week.
Hi from AL
*I hope we’re able to see that comet soon! It’ll look so cool! And an integrated circuit is so useful for everything! Maybe we can use an integrated circuit for a light switch!
Awesome live! Thank you! 😀
I really like today’s video. My favorite part was the train story. I like the incredible message it brought up on me and I really enjoyed it. I am really looking forward to more videos that I get to see ongoing with the rest of them that show.
The winner was so happy!
My favorite part of the science live was the train story!! I liked it because of the incredible message it brought me.
hi R-51 overtime was good
That was an amazing video. Also, the comment part showed the comment that I have seen before. you guys did an amazing job on all the inventions. my favorite one was maybe the echo one or the one that had the light turning on
I loved this!!! It’s honestly very cool! My favorite thing is the trains though. I do know all the things are interesting, but the train were the coolest…
Do you think we’re going to have technology
That’s so crazy it’s like magic
Dr. Billings dream about the comet was beautiful! Also I loved the presentation the guys gave on integrated circuits.
I hope I can see the Great Comet of 2026
good subject. Very interesting.
The comet looked beautiful
He is so funny! Lol
How does NASA know t hat there will be comets in 2026?
I really enjoyed this Science Live, learning about circuits is always extremely fascinating! Cannot wait until next Live!
I love when we get to see the proteges, because David and Caleb are such opposites. You can definitely see who is the younger one of the two, which is great. Caleb connects more with the younger audience: “That’s like 6-7 days” or “*tongue click* noice”– one of the most popular memes between the younger generation. While David cuts right to the chase, delivering the appropriate information at the right time to keep us engaged.
Also, the inventioneers are getting A LOT more screen time, which is probably why they are so hyper; they’re excited!
Honestly, I was cooked when I watched this live, it was hilarious, while also being incredibly informational.
Thank you Acellus, for making school actually fun 🙂 I will definitely watch Science L!VE even after I graduate next year, I’m a junior.
Today’s live was awesome! R-51 overtime was so good and I enjoyed learning about the transportation in Japan.
I love Wednesday lives!!!! <3
This was really nice to listen to! Thank you.
My name suggeston for the comment is ‘area 51’, for all obvious reasons.:)
I really like the circuits and also the train story was really great and I thought the compatition was
so funny.
What about the dream comet?
does it cost money to go on the bullet train
hello from Kansas City
I think you should name the comment “Comment Bolt.”
I loved learning about comets from Dr. John.
Hello from Texas
I Love Science Live! Every one of these lessons are so cool!
I am so excited for the Science Fair Project!
Hi from Texas!
I really loved the R-51 overtime thing!
hi from arkansas!
I really enjoyed today live!! my favorite part was the train story!! maybe I liked it because of the incredible message it brings me. amazing live
How was everybody’s week going ?
Comment
Wow…that new train is crazy fast!
Hello, i think the comets name should be Intersteller B-26 like the movie Intersteller. Also add some space or ant stuff. Keep up the good work
This live was so cool! R51 is hilarious!
Will we ever revisit the topic of the Japanese bullet trains? I found that to be incredibly interesting!
Hiiiii from SC.
Hello from North Carolina
Enjoyed the video this week
It was really interesting to learn about circuits and all the uses.
I think we should take the shrinker away from R51…. before he shrinks us all!
we should name the comet r51
Never knew bullet trains were this fascinating .
CIRCUITS ARE SO COOL YOU SHOULD DO MORE
R-51 is not a waste of time he makes me laugh
the tech part is always my favorite.
Hi from SD! Loved this video!
I thought about a comet called the Alpha. Basically a transistor does the same jobs that a vacuum tube does. When you think about it its application centers around its role as an amplifier. That is, the transistor strengthens the signals picked up, for example, by the antennas of radios and TV sets.
we should name the comet r51
I’ve never seen a comet before but now that I know there’s a lot coming this year that makes me excited.
I like learning about circuits.
This episode was so fun to watch!
Going to Japan would be so cool! Liked this one
this was a great educational video
Hi science Live!! When John stated to talk about the comets I got really intrigued. I really loved learning about the comets and how the different parts of them travel. I have always loved anything about the galaxy and I always get super excited when I get the opportunity to. I am a bit sad I won’t be able to see the comet from where I am, I hope to be able to see a comet at some point.
hey coming from tn i really enjoyed that video its very exciting and learning i hope yall have a good day!!!!
Hahaha the A and B capacitors that cure cancer
Researching a science project now! 🙂
Hi from South Carolina
Loved the competition!
I’m excited about the science fair! I wish we had a bullet train to take me to SeaWorld!!
Comment
Amazing how it looks like something is moving slow when you look up to space from earth but it’s actually moving very fast
Great show! It was very exciting to learn a bit about trains.
This week’s episode was the BEST one ever, and the proteges I can’t. I’m laughing so hard now in a good way. The proteges are my new favorite part of Science Live. Thank you Science Live for making my day !
Hi! I really enjoyed this episode of Science Live! The protégés were so awesome!! The game show they did reminded me of a baking champion show! It was so funny I loved it!! I hope everyone has an AMAZING Week!
Science live is always so helpful by allowing us to learn so much.
That is cool National Inventor’s Day fell on Thomas Edison’s birthday this year. I also think I may enter into the Science Fair this year and will use the steps that were provided in today’s Science Live.

“Something my wife and Thomas Edesen have in common is they both light up my world”
HAHAHAHAH
I loved what Dr. John talked about. I hope I get to see the comets!
Happy valentines day! This lesson was fun.
I love how we do Science Live every week! I love Science. 🙂
This was a educational live and it was interesting about the comets.
Great show! It was very exciting to learn about trains.
I learned that the structure of a comet is the coma on the top at a diameter of up to -1 million km. Then the nucleus at a diameter of a few km to tens of km. Next is the Hydrogen Envelope at a length of up to -10 million km.. Then comes the dust tail with a length up to -10 million km. Finally, at the end, there’s the plasma tail with a length up to -100 million km.
I also learned that there was a comet that came in 2011 called Lovejoy.
Last but not least, I learned that the first train in Japan could travel up to 100-130 miles per hour. It could travel 190 feet in one second. Over 400,000 people ride them everyday.
Thank you for doing these every week! I really enjoy watching them every week!
Wow, I love science lives!
I love R-51~
Hello from NY
