I love when we get to see the proteges, because David and Caleb are such opposites. You can definitely see who is the younger one of the two, which is great. Caleb connects more with the younger audience: “That’s like 6-7 days” or “*tongue click* noice”– one of the most popular memes between the younger generation. While David cuts right to the chase, delivering the appropriate information at the right time to keep us engaged.
Also, the inventioneers are getting A LOT more screen time, which is probably why they are so hyper; they’re excited!
Honestly, I was cooked when I watched this live, it was hilarious, while also being incredibly informational.
Thank you Acellus, for making school actually fun 🙂 I will definitely watch Science L!VE even after I graduate next year, I’m a junior.

I thought about a comet called the Alpha. Basically a transistor does the same jobs that a vacuum tube does. When you think about it its application centers around its role as an amplifier. That is, the transistor strengthens the signals picked up, for example, by the antennas of radios and TV sets.

I learned that the structure of a comet is the coma on the top at a diameter of up to -1 million km. Then the nucleus at a diameter of a few km to tens of km. Next is the Hydrogen Envelope at a length of up to -10 million km.. Then comes the dust tail with a length up to -10 million km. Finally, at the end, there’s the plasma tail with a length up to -100 million km.
I also learned that there was a comet that came in 2011 called Lovejoy.
Last but not least, I learned that the first train in Japan could travel up to 100-130 miles per hour. It could travel 190 feet in one second. Over 400,000 people ride them everyday.
