I think it is smart that instead of experimenting just to prevent the robot from falling, they acknowledged it and came up with a funny solution.
I liked learning about the Disney robots. Morse Code is very interesting. I made a bracelet that was my name in Morse Code.

I always look forward to the Science Lives! I have always thought about how we always try to make the robots so they don’t fall but if they do they just lay there struggling and they might break, so i think its a really good idea to make them fall with grace.

I never thought about how important email is. If we didn’t have it, many forms of communication between people would be much slower and inefficient.
Today I learned that the invention process is easier than you think and to invent something, you have to have a necessity or problem.

This weeks live was very interesting! Despite email being commonly used, I had never really stopped to think about how it was created. And I loved the morse code segment as well!

I am curious to learn how the researchers at the University of Tokyo were able to create this dual-light microscope. It sounds quite intuitive, especially since they are able to see micro and nanoscale activities in the living cell samples they observe.
I really like this science live. I especially liked Tyler‘s presentation on vector instruction in math because I’m not really a math fan myself but what he had to say was very interesting. I also enjoyed John’s presentation about the robots and Dr. billing and page presentation about messages and Morse code and I really like also about the inventions and how you could be successful and the steps to get there. I really enjoyed that.

Morse code is surprisingly elegant, I thought that those who read morse code simply memorise the dots and dashes for each letter, but instead it’s a specific checking system that has the most common letters be the most distinct ones, making them more easily recognizable, thus making translation faster. It’s a truly magnificent system!

Hello Dr. Roger Billings, how fast can you write in morse code?
Technology has come so far that it almost feels unreal. Back in the days of the telegram, a simple message took time, effort, and special equipment just to send a few words. Communication was slow, limited, and often formal. Now, we can send full messages, videos, photos, live locations, and even have real-time conversations with someone across the world instantly. What used to take hours or days now takes seconds. We carry more power in our phones today than entire rooms of equipment used to hold.
My grandpa uses Morse code.
