I love Snoopy and it is so cool that he is part of NASA! <3
This video made me laugh, loved learning about the radio waves.
I always wondered what am and fm were for on the radio. Now I know.
The concept of laser cooling is challenging to comprehend in a cool scientific way. The instructors of Science Live always make learning exciting and invigorating.
Can you find hydrogen on different planets, moon or sun’s
So interesting how a simple watch saved a multitude of people’s lives. Proof that even the most basic inventions can have the most important uses 🙂
I love watching these videos everything is so fascinating!
Acellus is awesome and I think a radio class would be great!
Lasers and radios are awesome!
when R 51 called Mars I thought that was really funny, and I learned so much from this video. I LOVE ACELLUS!
This episode was great! The part where Area 51 communicated with mars was hilarious! I find it also very fascinating that lasers can cool down things, it seems almost impossible for something made to be hot actually working to cool things down 😀
i would love Radio class!
I love Acellus and am thankful every week for these videos teaching me something new.
A ham radio lesson would be great! My mom worked with ham radios when she was in H.S. but she’s forgotten how to use them after all these years.
Hi from CT! I liked the joke about the band.
I never actully thought you can cool down things with lasers like that’s crazy!
Are Ham radio and CB radio the same thing?
Radio Waves are fascinating
I really enjoyed this episode I have a much clearer understanding on radio waves, and I loved learning about astronauts keeping time I never understood how important that was for them.
Thank you Acellus.
Piloting classes would be cool.
Dr. Tobias talked about how the Omega Watch was chosen to go to the moon. Time was such an important factor for the astronauts.
I really enjoyed learning about the omega watch!!
a radio class would be so interesting
I am working to get my ham radio license
It was cool to learn about the watch that made it to the moon
“Ham radio” is fascinating! It sparked my interest to learn more!
I appreciate you guys doing this!
My favorite part of this live is the technology spotlight. It’s fascinating to me that lasers can not only heat something up, but also have the ability to chill items down to almost absolute zero. I never knew that about lasers and I think it’s really cool!
So what if the wind knocks it down do we just not have communication and I know that radio towers are different than internet towers so what if they fall down or wind effects it is that why it may be slow
Who figured out what invisible waves were?
If we had a course on Ham Radio and a course on Morse Code I would take them both!
i loved this video, so amazing and learned new stuff every Wednesday!
So what if the radio waves mess up is that why we have problems with sound some time what about the internet is that why it may be slow sometimes.
I love the part were R-51 shows up in these videos, me and my sister love to laugh about the things he does. Seriously, where does he come up with these things?
Space communication is very interesting.
I lived learning about the different types of coral!! The ocean is one of my favorite things and I hope y’all get to talk about it even more!
Hi I’m from Mississippi and I absolutely love these lives a and I loved the shirt specially the one with the alian ship.
Science is TRULY fascinating. I enjoyed todays lecture!
This is mind blowing!
The story about the ham radio tower was so funny!
I love doing my school work with Acellus.
Thank you for making science live episode. I love it : )
The corals are so pretty!
From Joshua, I learned about how every step takes you to something new.
Will the radio class teach us how to communicate? Like in the military or law enforcement?
Radio waves are unique. It’s neat how a radio tower that stands tall can give you signal for miles out.
I need one of those omega watches!
that’s super cool.
Learning about Morse code is feeling neat! A simple but interesting way to communicate!
Why and how did we discover radio waves?
I love these Science Lives and I love Acellus!!
This video was very interesting. R51 was ever so funny!
I find it so interesting that lasers can can be used to cool. When you think about it it doesn’t make sense at first but then if you think more deeply it makes more sense.
Amazing science live today!
Learning about radio waves is super interesting! They have to do with much more than just space, including headaches, frequencies, etc
I Love Acellus
A morse code class would be sooooooooo fun !!!
That’s so cool that you were a HAM radio operator!
I was astonished at the fact that lasers can also cool down things. I thought that lasers could only heat items. This episode was very interesting.
This episode was funny. I can’t wait for the next episode
I love how Dr.Billings explains everything! The sound effects always makes me laugh out loud! lol!
This episode was funny especially when it said Area 51 communicated with mars
Thank you for making the Radio waves science live episode! 🙂
first watch on the moon was very impressive
Always enjoy watching these! From Houston!
A pilot class would be awesome!!
I really enjoyed the segment when Dr. Billings talked about Morse Code. So interesting how we used to communicate distress signals, and still use them today.
This was a very inspirational video and i learned alot from it
I loved learning about radio waves. I can’t wait to see what we learn about in the upcoming week.
I watched this with my family.
Is time different on the moon or in space?
I always look forward to watching these!
I loved science live today! It was so much fun to watch!!
Thank you guys for another amazing Science Live!
I love learning with Acellus!
I learned that back then when NASA was figuring out how to get to the moon they were trying to focus on timing, so they asked the company to make a watch that is able to be used in space.
Study and hard work pays off.
I am fascinated by the journey of Omega Watch to space, and the fact that many items that we use require a type of radio wave for passing information is awesome!
Radio waves are pretty interesting. I love snoopy!
I never noticed that Buzz Aldren had a watch on, it is very small so it is it very hard to see but it is there, as you pointed out.
Morse code is very interesting!
Flight courses would be a great idea!
I really liked the omega watches and snoopy. Great show.
I would really love if someone on the team could add a radio waves class
Dr. Roger billings inspires me to be a pilot.
I enjoy being a part of Acellus Academy.
Thank you for teaching us about radio waves! I would love to learn more!
Enjoyed this lecture. The concept of a laser actually cooling something is incredible. Fascinating.
Acellus is a wonderful home schooling program love it. God bless all of you.
I love area 51 and his goofiness 🙂
I didn’t know that you needed a license to use a ham radio, I thought they could only be used in emergencies.
Wow this was so interesting. will we go more in depth on Radio waves in future videos?
Radio waves have always intrigued me. Thank you for teaching more about it.
how does shortwave radio signals travel over the horizon line and across continents?
I’m Raffi from Ohio, I’m a big watch guy and I didn’t know amount the omega, looked it up on google and found tons of fascinating things 😁
Do you think laser cooling could be used to help cool small devices like phones?
Where would our world be without radio waves? So interesting
this episode was really interesting, especially the radio wave segment!
I have Asperger’s and I have found out if I study alot at one time I do alot better and comprehend more than if I study a little bit at a time
Thank you Acellus!
I think the pilot class would be cool. Very good science live.
I love Science Live and Acellus too!!
Could radio waves be used to heal the body.
I love Acellus
Does NASA still give out those awards like the Snoopy award ?
I never thought about a laser cooling instead of heating. that’s an interesting perspective
The laser part was interesting and both classes sound like a good addition
I think it is important to study everyday and make sure you look at all of your videos to make sure your soak in all the information for the questions to get as many good grades as you can!
I think Acellus makes it easier to learn things and adding these videos gives me something to look forward to during my day!
Thanks for this! We really enjoyed the Northern Lights in North Carolina.
Thank you Roger Billings!
I cannot wait to learn more about radio waves.
I think it’s fascinating that the height of the towers can affect the waves!
I didn’t know much about radio waves until now, thanks for teaching me!!
I take my daily streaks and study time very serious Dr. Josh 🙂
Does coral have muscles? How does it “pull in”?
how much can a brain store before it starts to forget
My father has told me so many stories of when he was a kid his uncle had a huge antenna on the roof of his house and they would use a Ham radio to talk with people from all different countries.
I liked learning about the watches and Apollo 13. Would love to learn more about that.
I found the study consistantly tip interesting because I have realized that I do better and remember more learning in smaller increments. It really proves working smarter not harder is worth it in the long run.
We were able to see the Northern lights here in Kentucky!
I did not know lasers can cool down things. That’s very interesting.
I would like to receive a snoopy award from NASA!
I love Acellus! I really don’t believe I would do well in a traditional school.
The laser actually being able to cool is mind blowing!
I’m not in high school, but a pilot course would be cool
I thought it was neat about the Apollo Mission to the moon and how to tell time- that is on a schedule. How long do I turn on the booster and that time could make or break the mission.
Wow, science is really just magical.
I love learning about stuff.
Is the Snoopy Award still given out by Nasa?
I really like learning about using lasers to cool things down. I loved the picture of the quantum computer that stays super cold and that the laser could be used in space because it’s cold in space.
amazing stuff + that area 51 part. lovely
Not me being a watch nerd and hearing about a watch on this
I like the part where they’re talking about a black light shine on these colorful bottles that made a rainbow.
What do you think the future of radio waves will be? Will we ever be able to communicate across planets?
Awesome!!!!!
The concept of waves carrying information really makes me wonder how teleportation COULD work!
Loved the live this week
Diamonds might be used for the next generation semiconductors
I love these episodes so much fun acellus is the best
Wow, morse code is so fascinating! Can we have a class where we learn it?
It’s Noah from Buffalo, NY and todays Science Live was super interesting. Learning about Radio Waves was really nice. All the other stuff was super interesting as well. I’m looking forward to the next Science Live!
Accelus is so cool! Thank you guys for doing this for us.
So the wavelength signals move like a domino affect
What all devices can use radio waves? And can only devices use them?
Radio towers are so interesting!
Is diamond one of the hardest substances on earth or has it been surpassed?
I want to learn Morse Code!!
A radio class would be a nice elective, but a pilot’s class would be even more interesting!
It’s so cool you taught about Bioluminescence in this episode because I just did a homeschool class at Bass Pro Shop’s – Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium, the topic of the day was Bioluminescence. We did comparisons with Bioluminescence vs Fluorescents, chemistry experiments, and we got to tour the Aquarium with all the Christmas lights! You should come check it out!
I love learning about radio waves!
You know, I would’ve initially thought that the watch being on the outside of their suit might’ve just stopped working once they stepped onto the moon, probably because of the pressure and atmosphere drop stopping the inner workings of such a watch but, appearently no.
I would LOVE to do a pilot class!!
Such a cool Science Live!
Thanks for the fun facts about lasers! Love science live 🙂
It is fasinating how the omega watch saved some astronauts lives.
this week was so fun to watch and listen to!
Its cool that the Omega watch made it through NASA’s tests and made it to the moon.
Love learning with Acellus! I also love science live!
I always wondered why FM radio sounds better! Too cool!
area 51 is so fun and helps us understand better
Love learning with Acellus!
I like when I finish all my classes for the day and I see all my checkmarks! Then I can do the fun activities like typing
I’ve been to NASA once! It was super cool!
I never really knew how many things diamonds were actually used for until these science lives.
that is a good idea to study evryday
How would those diamond or boron-arsenide semi conductors work? Would they work the same as the silicon based ones or would they have some kind of different behavior or architecture?
I loved learning about fluorescent colors and how they effect the effect of lasers!
Science LIVE is so much fun! I really like learning new things from each LIVE! My parents also really enjoy watching with me!
How long can a rocket last on fuel in space
I would love to learn how we can use radio frequencies in every day life.
Did NASA name all rockets?
Dr John never fails to show cool tech facts!
It’s always fun to watch science live! 😀
Do you have any tips on how to learn morse code?
yes I do there are many book on mores code you can find on Amazon and different websites
thank you teachers for making my classes fun and entertaining.
