Can you imagine only having 14 seconds, no more or less, to be able to do something so critical such as making it back to Earth? That is so crazy and definitely scary. I loved the movie “Apollo 13” since it gave you an idea of what the astronauts went through.
I never knew all that information about the Omega watch! That is very awesome.
This week, R51 tried calling aliens from “Planet Pajét”, but instead, he accidentally called the aliens from planet Mars. Next week’s episode of R51 should involve R51 landing on “Planet R51” and meeting the aliens there.

My favorite thing about radio waves is how much they have helped society, they have saved so many lives through emergency communication.

Radio waves have always fascinated me, as to their ability to travel so far. I also have a radio tower that is very tall, probably about 400 feet tall, in the acreage behind our house.

Radio waves can travel through space, that’s how satellites send signals back.
I find it cute and interesting that astronauts were awarded with a Snoopy themed appreciation certificate. I know that it is most common that people use radio every day. Also how through out history, radios have been useful and helpful too!
