    I know that it gets colder and colder as you go up in the atmosphere, but I don’t why REALLY understand why, because if you go up into space, wouldn’t you be getting closer to the sun? And our planet gets hot from the sun all the time, so I’m just a bit curious about that. (P.S I have not watched the whole video yet so I hope my question gets answered later)

    The R51 shirt is great because it is simple and funny. It is easier to see what shirts are best when you can compare a couple . It helps to also understand what works best as a shirt, when seeing other ideas- it is like working with them in a way.

    That weeping wing is really cool, is this technology used in any highspeed or highaltitude aircraft? I would assume that it might be useful at those cold temperatures high in the atmosphere. All those shirts were pretty cool but I think my favorite was number 3!

    This is one of my t-shirts. It says “Knowledge is a flame in the dark. It is a flame made out of book spines and the top yellow says the words and you can see the front. The back has the Acellus symbol and says Acellus.

    I like when you talked about the plane wings. I guess I never thought about how cold it gets in the upper atmosphere but it must be pretty rough. I wonder do planes come with more than one or two features just in case something goes wrong?

    The water trick was definitely a favorite of mine, going from a liquid to a solid was amazing, the majority of the shirt designs were also pretty good but #7 stood out to me because of the little plane design.

    It was mind blowing to see how copiers work, because I’m not sure I can count how many times I’ve copied something without a second though about the process. I never would have put my money on static electricity being the main part of the process. Does this science still apply to modern printers? I’m was pretty sad I didn’t make the cut of design winners, but I’m also very proud of everyone who did win with their design. Great job people!

    My brother and I once saw the super cool water at a science fair. The key is pure water because regular water has impurities unlike pure water. Pure water is chilled without being disturbed.

    Interesting that vibrations can be used to shed ice off of the wings of aircraft. Additionally, it is fascinating that the vibrations have to be at the perfect resonant frequency to do so. Also, love the all the shirts at the end!
