My favorite use of planes is the Blue Angels. The Blue Angels are a military team that flies jets, they do the diamond pose so these jets are 12 inches apart which is close together. Amazingly, they have intense training, to do this if one of those jets moves they all crash. These jets can go 7 g-forces.
