I find it interesting that there are so many variants of butterflies with in the same species.
I like the uniqueness of each butterflies patterns. It was interesting to learn that the caterpillars are born in one country, shipped as a chrysalis, and re-born as a butterfly in another country.

The Palace is in Missouri? Then ya, it is a different place then. There is also a Palace in Okinawa, Japan which is the one I went to. If you are ever interested and are able to go, then I definitely recommend going. Even if you don’t go for the Palace or a theme-park or anything in particularly, just trying the Japanese foods (and not just sushi) and going to local events such as the Anime Con or the Comic Con is really cool.
I wish that there was a butterfly palace in mississippi! It looks so cool!

What creates the butterfly colors ?
The Butterfly Palace is not in Japan like Sylveon said but it is in USA in Missouri in the city Branson. You might of went to a different butterfly palace but this one is in USA.
I found this very interesting. I love butterflies, but i just wish they lived longer. They are so beautiful.

Another thing, when you go to Japan, I recommend seeing the Pineapple Park. Sure, it is kind of cheesy from the Japanese perspective, but it is really cool. If you aren’t really into theme-parks, then that is okay too, but I still recommend going, even if it is just for their pineapple cheeses and other sweets. (They even have pineapple cheesecake!)

Awe you agree with me? Thanks! I think a sim would be really beautiful. Also, happy early s16 birthday. (My birthday is also in June :>).
And another thing, I really hope you do enjoy your stay in Japan. For whatever reason, I don’t think the Butterfly Palace that Dr. Pajet and Dr. Billings went to is in Japan (but I could be wrong). I’m not 100% sure, it has been a while since I’ve gone but I don’t remember that building style; it was more outdoorsy (of course, there was a building to contain the butterflies) where I went. Maybe they have changed since then, but I went in 2017-18 (I don’t remember exactly which year).
Also, another important thing to note, is that Japanese people drive on the right side, just so you know. (It does look weird if you aren’t used to it).
However, besides the driving, in more of their everyday lives, I recommend trying the noodles. It is out-of-this-world (in my opinion).

Please make a 3D butterfly simulation for the activities for each grade. My idea is that it will include peaceful music, and a “walk-through.” Basicly, you’ll be this character thing, you’ll look around and watch different butterflies flying about, there will be different sceneries too; depending on where the butterfly originated from. There will be signs too. These signs will display info about a certain tree, plant, flower, or butterfly species. (i.e. what they eat, where they live, their life-span, etc.).
I could go on and on but I think it is pretty obvious at this point on what my idea is. But please take this into consideration Acellus. The reason why I say “for every grade” is because I want everyone to enjoy it.

The blue morpho has great camouflage with the blue coloring on top and the brown on the bottom of its wings. It looks like leaves and the sky as its fluttering around in the jungle.

I had no idea that butterflies only lived 2-3 weeks on average. Thats so sad. I was also really impressed the different cocoons and how some camouflaged and some were bright indicating they didn’t taste good.
If they did have the host plants and these butterflies could lay eggs would they ever cross breed with so many different kinds of butterflies around?
