I always thought that soldering requires extreme focus and precision, but after I searched up how others did it, it seemed not that hard at all. But with some practice, a beginner can do it really well.

What is the main differenece between soldering and welding? A plumber recently came over and fixed a broken pipe but then used solder and a blow torch and i asked him if he was welding and he said it was just a different type of soldering. is that true?
