Those are some neat prizes. I like the Celestron Telescope! I would probably do a learning project in the science fair someday talking about research I have done for my reptiles.

The gold key is such a great concept, and the science fair project the boys did with the weather balloon was super cool and the cinnamon was a funny but unique idea.

I wanted to know what happened to the cinnamon roll? Did it survive the fall and were the protégés able to eat it? Are the protégés going to do more experiments in the future with the weather balloon? What was the temperature reading at the height the Balloon got up to before it fell? What other topics would be okay to do for a learning project? I’m still confused on what I could do for the science fair and how to go about doing it. Can Mr. Billings talk about other learning projects that students could do for the science fair? I would appreciate it.

Facts of tonight; first national science fair was in the 1950s, with about 15,000 applicants. Only 30 of them made it to finals. In the 1960s the science fair was open for international competition.

When I was 10, I visited a museum in Bolzano and got to see Ötzi in person! It’s wild to think that 3,000 years ago people weren’t that different from us and Ötzi was eating pancakes being one of the oldest mummies in the world. Hahaha!
The Inventioneers sending a cinnamon roll to space the video of its flight and the Earth’s landscape was amazing!
Also, the short clip of them singing Choosin’ Texas is so funny, it’s my favorite song at the moment.
Thanks for today’s live! I really enjoyed it, also I’ll be ordering my GoldKey this week! 🙂
