Integrated Circuit Introduction

February 11, 2026 Β β€’Β  EPISODE 297

Why were integrated circuits so important in making computers smaller, faster, and more powerful? In this episode of Science LIVE, Roger Billings introduces the integrated circuit. Discover how integrated circuits helped shrink computers while making them faster and more powerfulβ€”paving the way for today’s technology. The episode also highlights the excitement surrounding the great comet of 2026 and the engineering behind high-speed bullet trains.
