Researchers at the University of Sydney, Australia believe the key to healthcare may be hidden in your sweat. They are currently testing wearable micro-fluid devices that analyze your sweat, and can track things such as your cortisol levels, along with removing the need for blood in some medical tests.
Who invented infer-red?
Thank you all for continuing the invention series I really enjoyed it.
Considering how they used the mold to protect against radiation in space, I wonder if they could use it to make jobs at nuclear power plants even safer.
That kids meal joke is hilarious
That was so funny Mr. b and awesome thanks a lot.
How can they tell different things about our body through analyzing our sweat?
It’s so amazing to see how this works! I ‘m so excited that you’re going to be putting a kit in the store! Thanks Dr. B!
Is aluminum the only metal that can detect sound waves?
That’s cool you are going to put a kit in the store!
I never knew Dr.billings had the idea for the first hydrogen car!
Molds reactions to radiation and the rapid growth it experiences is interesting. I enjoyed this discussion during the tech talk. The discussion of the radio was also excellent. Great science live, keep up the good work!
Knowledge and learning new things is the best tool for your brain!
your my favourite teacher pajet
Thats so crazy Dr. Billings had the idea to invent the first hydrogen car when he was only in high school!
I learned so much today!! Love tuning in to these lives. Even if I’m a little late..
it’s cool that mold can protect from radiation
Would people be able to adapt to radiation like the frogs?
I love R-51!!!!!
I wanna be a scientist when I’m older
I love r-51
I LOVE THIS!!!!
I love learning new things about science with Tobias
How has the coherer helped shape technology today? In what ways do we use the ideas of these inventions in everyday life?
Super, super cool!!!! Will definitely be saving up to get the kit from the acellus store!!
I liked watching the light come on with the lighter. It was cool.S
We always look forward to watching these!!
R-51 is so funny! I live science live 😀 thank you Dr.B!
R51 is super funny 😂 🤣 LOL. But can we get the kit with our Gold Credits? Or do we have to buy it with real money?
Amazing! I enjoyed watching the electricity radio wave experiment!
Science Live is the best part of my week!!!
The coherer is an interesting thing.
Science live is awesome!!
I liked learning about how you can use mold in space to protect you from radiation.
R-51 is so funny!
This episode was so neat!
I love learning new things and this was just so interesting.
hello from Kennewick, Wa. Love yall
r51 is really funny!!!.
I thought it was cool that when you tapped the glass the light came on.
I definitely want to get that kit in the store. That’s cool.
I like your experiment with the foil balls.
R-51 is so smart
Science live has very consistent quality, always enjoy watching it weekly.
I love the science lives! They are very educational!
I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH
R-51 makes sciencce live so much more fun
How do you make sure you’re on track to finishing your courses for when you graduate?
R-51 is so cool!
The planning tips that Jamie provided regarding graduation and completing courses is very helpful. I am due to graduate next year in May, so double checking over my completion dates and planning things around my goals is very relatable.
were the black frogs that adapted to survive the radiation able to live were the radiation is stronger?
I love how Dr. Tobias talked about the lights
this was super awesome Dr.B
You are so creative Dr.Roger Billings!
I like the LED story and the frogs. I like the science experiment with foil. That will be a nice kit to have.
Cool video! I’m from Texas
how far can you turn on the light bulb with the lighter?
Wow this is very interesting to me and my family. We tune in to science live from the accelus activities tab. We love seeing your great faces every Wednesday evening. Although, sometimes we don’t get to tune in on Wednesday. But- we surely make do with the little time we have, lol! Sometimes I tune in on Thursdays or a wednesday for example.. Thanks for inspiring millions of children daily! You are a role model to our family. my favorite part of the episode was when r-51 came on he is soooo funny he makes me roll on the floor laughing! LOL 🤣 He should be a comedian he is so funny, LOL 🤣.
Hi from Utah! Learning about the radio waves was very interesting.
wow that’s so fasinating and smart. Thank you for talking about this kind of stuff for us and for teaching us all kind of new things!!
Excitement from Ohio! Can’t wait to hear what is in store for this science live.
That’s so neat that sparks make radio waves. I didn’t know that.
So awesome🤩 😎 ! Thank you so much!
How strong does the spark need to be to make a light?
love that your aways coming up with stuff to make Acellus better
The experiment with the tinfoil was very cool!
Why does the mold seek out the higher radiation? I understand it makes it grow faster, but why does it seek it out is the radiation keeping it alive?
How do the animals live in Chernobyl without dying from the radiation?
Can the mold make Chernobyl livable again?
How does the radiation stay “alive” in space?
How strong does the spark need to be to make a light ?
My favorite part of the week is sitting down and watching science live, all of the teachers are amazing!
I did not expect Mr. Billings to appear in Area 51! Haha, was a great episode enjoyed watching
This inspires me to be an inventioneer myself!
Would they ever make a course on inventing?
so awesome dr. B
Love from Texas, great episode this week!
That’s the first time have heard about the invention of the LED.
Every time I watch science live I always learn something new. Can’t wait for next week 🤗
Radio waves are so cool. It’s like magic in the air.
Great episode! Hello from Florida! 🙂
Loved the cup demonstration, I might try it myself!
I thought that testing your sweat to see all the stuff you would need to see by getting a blood test was really cool because I hate getting my blood drawn I learned a lot today.
I loveeeee science live. I am very inspired by you guys, and I will forever chase my dreams! Thank you so much for helping me find my courage and helping me see that my future is bright! 🙂
I LOVE THE LIVES THEY ARE ALWAYS SO INTRESTING AND THEY GIVE YOU SO MUCH INFORMATION
Beautifully explained
I love to learn new things with these videos each time!!
I was not expecting mold to be useful for astronauts!
Another great episode very cool to watch things being made and work.
R51!!!!!!
This episode was so interesting! Can sweat sensors detect all the same things that blood tests can, or are there limits>
Happy Holidays to those who celebrate!
I love R-51 it makes me laugh so hard!!!!
I think it’s interesting you can monitor cortisol levels and factors about your health from just sweating.
how powerful does the spark need to be to make a ligh ; also if you were to change the amount of tin foil in the cups will it make the light brighter or darker?
Another fantastic episode. Thank you, Science Live!
The science behind radio waves is fascinating!!! Hope to see more exciting videos in the future!!! (Along with R51 obviously)
Seeing how this stuff works is awesome
I loved watching the light turn on and off with the radio waves!
Very interesting Dr. B!
What differentiates a resistor and a fuse beside one being impedence related and amp current related?
R-51 is so funny
your videos are so cool and such a inspiration! i love watching you guys every wednesday.
science live is the best!
