The evolution of batteries is such an interesting topic to learn about, I honestly never considered it.
Science Live Always Teaches Me New Stuff.
How else did Benjamin Franklin experiment on electricity?
hello from Texas happy Thanksgiving
I LOVE science live!!!!!!!
Hi from Alabama . I liked learning about negative and positive charge .
Hey there it’s Tayla; have a Happy Thanksgiving day.
Hello from Claremore, Oklahoma. and happy thanksgiving
the linden jar is cool
I really enjoy watching the science live, I am able to learn a lot. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving from tennessee
How does just the touch of someone change a charge?
Hi from Washington state!
That’s a fun tidbit of information!
I always enjoy these lives so much!!
That landing was butter! meaning (soft landing!)
Here! Canβt wait!
Hello from Tx
Cool live so far.
Why is it called a jar?
How loud is the zap?
Amazing
present for the live π
I wonder how bad he was zapped.
Happy Thanksgiving
That’s really cool that battery was originally a military term. I never would’ve guessed that!
How large was the first Laiden Jar?
The story of the Jet sounded so cool and scary at the same time. It reminded me of a pilot simulator me and my family played at a museum where they show you all the different airplanes and spaceships! π
It’d be so convenient to have super sonic passenger planes, instead of it taking several hours to get from “New York to London (example)” it could take at most just one hour
Happy Thanksgiving
Is there still a Leyden jar still around at a museum or something similar?
Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello from Roscoe IL
Happy Thanksgiving from Kona
Hi from Idaho
I love science live and I think r51 is funny! Happy thanksgiving!
Hi from Kentucky
Checkin’ in from Texas!
I actually really love the science live, I think science is really cool and mysterious in its own way.
Hello, From Texas
hello from montana!!
Wow
Happy Thankgiving, Science LIVE!!!
This was so amazing!
that is insane how the x59 can go faster than sound! : ] and happy Thanksgiving!
Why does an airplane have such a long nose?
Hello from MO!
Hello from nebraska.
Science live inspires me to invent something a little more every program
the static electricity experiment is so cool.
Dr. Billings have you considered adding a dance course? I think Dr. Pajet would be a wonderful dance teacher.
Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!
HIII FROM NORTH AURORAA
This is my first time watching this bc Iβm new but I love it so much it answers all my questions Ty science live
Happy Thanksgiving!
What will the aircraft be used for if they are successful in reducing the sonic boom sound? Travel, transporting goods, fighter jets?
How could they make a Leyden Jar?
The X-59 Jet is so cool in the future is gonna be so cool
Hey from htx
Happy thanksgiving everyone!!!!!
Is NASA the sole researcher on the supersonic technology, or is it a partnership with the military?
hi I watch you viedios every week on wednessday:)
hi from tx
Thank you for this week canβt wait for next week!
Love from NC! Happy Thankgiving!!
Would anything happen if they touched the water in the jar?
How does a Leyden jar store electrical charge?
NASA has made a good plane.
Hi form nj
I like science live
happy Thanksgiving!
hi from Michigan
The sonic boom that planes make sounds like itβs very loud and disturbing but I am glad that they are making the plane that makes the sound go up instead of down because, it would not be good for the plane to make a huge noise and people would be underneath the plane and they had to listen to the sound. I hope the sonic thud will be better than the sonic boom from this plane.
Hello from al!
hi im excited to be here
I LOVE SCIENCE LIVE!!!
I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy this live just as much as the last one!
hello from texas!
Hello from Nebraska!
Hello I’m from Missouri and i love watching science live
This live was honestly amazing.
Hello Dr. John, do you think that this new technology will allow the opportunity for supersonic jets to be used as passenger planes?
How long has NASA been working on this “Sonic thud” idea?
Hi, from Illinois!!
This video was so cool!!
I can get enough of this I have to watch this all the time
When will that jet be released?
Hello from TN!
Harlan P
HEY FROM TX
the video answered all of my questions
Heyy from Tennessee!!
hello from maryland
”Booms aren’t legal, but what about thuds?” π
Hi from Va
what would Nasa use the x-59 for?
science live always makes my Wednesday
Greetings from New York! I’m loving this episode!
I MADE IT!!!!!!!
hello from hawaii
Wouldn’t the nose of the X-59 wobble a lot?
Happy thanksgiving everyone!!! π
I thought it was interesting how they are making that jet that can go as fast as the speed of sound
I learn something new from science live every Wenesday, thank you.
Watching from Kentucky
Hello from North Dakota!!! So excited for this weeks live and thanksgiving!!!!
Thatβs unusual, who knew the nose length of a jet could reduce the volume of a sonic boom outside? That does look really funny though
I thought the boy was talking about real socks
Dr. Tobias has the best hair ever.
Supersonic jets tend to be very expensive though, that was one of the main reasons the Concorde stopped being a thing.
Happy thanksgiving
How does the long nose on the plane block the sound? And,Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
I always enjoy Dr. Tobias info!!
hello from Georgia!!
Hello Dr. John, do you think that this means there will passenger supersonic jets?
Have an exquisite thanksgiving love youβll !!πππππππ
It will be amazing if technology can improve airplanes to make them more efficient and safer. greetings from Virginia.
Hi from Hawaii
Hey Iβm from Georgia
DR Billings when will we have the first supersonic hydrogen plane?
So glad to finally be able to get all my classes done and attend Science Live now that I’ve got my new laptop.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Are we going to see R 51.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a great day tomorrow!

Hello from Illinois, happy thanksgiving!
I enjoy watching science live, I learn something innovative every time I watch that inspires me with my education.
Hello from New York!
Hello from SC
Love learning about pilots ! hope to learn more !
I love this story
Could they do the same thing they do to commercial planes noseβs to the new plane?
thank you Roger bilings
The plane looks like it came out of Star Wars.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!
Hi from ky
Wonder how it would feel to be going at the speed of sound? Happy Thanksgiving!
Would there be a abberation for the pilot due to the computerized view as compared to just looking out the screen of the airplane?
What an awesome video!
that’s actually a really cool way to get around not having a windshield
is there anyone else from Bangladesh here?
happy thanksgiving for the people who celebrate
Hello from new york happy thanksgiving π
It would be so cool to be a NASA test pilot!
Hey there, have a Happy Thanksgiving day.
that was a great story
Do they still make this type of jets today.
Amazing story!
what happens if the test jet is damaged during a flight and creates a sonic boom?
Hello from Spokane , Valley, WA:) π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π π
Hi from Florida
Hello from Maryland.
Hello from Michigan!
happy thanksgiving to everyone around the world
Wsp from Texas
Happy thanksgiving everyone!!!!!
If humanity learned to brake through the sound barrier through the means of a jet or vehicle, could that benefit exploration in different sciences?
inventions with jets are becoming nicer and cooler.
that story is amazing
Hello everyone have a nice thanksgiving
Hello from Nebraska
hi i from kentucky have a happy thanksgiving
That was so cool!!!
Hi from TN!
Hello
why did they make the front so long?
