Inventioneering
November 26, 2025 • EPISODE 288
What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

Batteries are so cool
Why would the creation of an antenna be more art than science, is that cause they want it to look more fancy?
that was a cool video.
I love this one its was fascinating
I didnt know about the sonic boom law, i think ive heard jets break the sound barrier before when i was up north.
Thank you for talking about the scholarship requirements. It would be really cool if they are able to use magnets to separate the elements of water.
that jet was so cool looking!! loved this science live!
Are aircraft allowed to do a sonic boom during an airshow? I think I’ve seen one before.
i iked this episode
I love this weeks episode so much.
Roger billings is the best
Roger Billings is teaching me a lot
I am thankful for how far I have come this year!
R 51 is hilarious 🙂

I great science live this week
Batteries are so small now, compared to the 1900s.
Dr Billings so funny
this was a great lesson
science live is amazing
I have 2 questions:
So #1. tobais was talking about infired light so i’m wondering, is infered a color? 🤔
And also what does the radio wave do to make the current go through the aluminum balls‽
This episode was 100% awesome ☺︎☺︎☺︎
Watching from NM
Is their a speed limit for planes?
hi from florida
Dr Roger Billings is great.
Happy Thanksgiving!
so cool!
hydrogen powered cars would be a nice supliment to gas and be a lot cheaper
I always find Science Live so entertaining, inspiring and educating. As always, R-51 was so fun to watch!
Awesome video
Happy Thanksgiving
Can you be both an artist and a scientist, or can you be really bad at art and still be a scientist?
It would be good to invent something someday that could change the world. Watching all these invention stories, it’s hard not to wonder how they got there?
what would happen if the cameras stopped working on the jet?
The 9-volt battery: The touch it to your tongue battery. I am so glad I am not the only one who does that! 🙂
I found learning about the history of batteries very fascinating. Thank You!
Soo interesting
I like science !
Amazing
Dr Roger is SO amazing and cool!!
Science live has made me love science even more i love it!!!
this was so intersting!
Really enjoyed the story of how batteries were made
I might become a pilot myself.
i feel like hydrogen houses would be crazy but lowkey good for our enviernment which would be so cool.
I enjoy science live !
Love these
I love science lives
I love that science live makes things so easy to relate to.
Thank you for teaching us something new every week
I want a bigger spark! Ha. Interesting to think about it all
The nose bending reminds me of a bird!
DR.R-51 LOVE THAT HAT! AND THE EXPERIMENT! THANKS FOR SHOWING ME!
It’s cool how they used aerodynamics to reduce the sound of the jet’s sound!
It’s cool how they used aerodynamics to reduce the sound of the jet’s sonic boom!
If my home was hydrogen powered how much money would that save/waste?
Acellus is AMAZING i love it!
Love science live!
If you were to type out the world’s longest word in Morse code, how long would it take?
Didn’t know “inventioneering” was a word but you learn something new every day!
Loved this lesson.
Always fun to watch
It was super neat to learn about the Layden Jars and how Benjamin Franklin tried to cook a turkey with it.
DR B, YOU ARE SO COOL. I LOVE THE MUSIC ALSO!!!
i LOVE THIS SHOW
I LOVE SCIENCE LIVE!!!!
Love all the videos there all so amazing.
Imagine calling a real UFO, how awesome or scary would that be.
Thank you for taking your time to teach and inspire us!
The jet looked really cool! Definitely something straight out of a movie, I also enjoyed r51 today 🙂
I love science live!
Dr Roger Billings is amazing
Thank you for the Science Live.
Wow very interesting!
i love science so much
Science lives are always fun to watch when you wanna learn something new
It would be so cool if we could use hydrogen to power other things like homes or machinery!
This live was really cool to watch.
This inspires me to want to do my own inventions
Leyden jar is so cool!
I love these
I always enjoy hearing about Dr. Billings stories, the ones about the planes were cool.
The jet looks like a paper air plane
hydrogen power is so cool
I want to invent something. What is the first step?
R51 is so funny!
i enjoy these videos
hello from ky!
What is manganese?
I always find science live is so interesting!
Hydrogen power is so cool!
I’m so curious to the process of the creation of the R51 bits! Is there a script or is it all improvisation? Love all aspects to it!
This was my favorite one so far
Dr Roger is the best
How would you say this produces modern technology?
The R51 segments always get me laughing so hard!
Its sad that animals get exposed to the radiation.
R51 is always so fun to watch
interesting video!
Dr Roger is amazing and funny!
I like the word inventioneering
Hydrogen power would be awesome for my shop.
The things that people have been able to create with radio waves is so fascinating, like with the morse code messages.
This was a great episode!
I like how Dr Billings explains science from his own personal experiences and history.
Oh my gosh it must have taken so much practice to be a pilot. That landing looks insane.
Interesting episode. love catching back up on the science lives throughout the day!
could we learn more about Leyden jar?
This was so cool and I’m formative, is it possible you guys can expand on this subject?
I would like to fly that jet
I liked learning that mold grows 20 times faster in space than on earth.
The infared light was invisable, but when new materials were grown and combined it made the infared light visible.
Its really cool that you can send signals with radiowaves to turn on a lightbulb, and turn it of by tapping it.
Dr Roger Billings is a genius for making Acellus!!!
I love science live!!
Dr. Billings is great
This enhanced my understanding of engineering!
I loved ths one so much! Thank you!
Hydrogen Power is cool. I know I’ve heard my dad talk about the hydrogen powered vehicles before.
science live is my favorite part of Acellus
What happens when the lumens get to hot?
I am interested in being an engineer so this video is super cool.
I wonder how many people should have credit for their engineering but no one ever documented it hundreds of years ago!
It’s always interesting to see the wacky inventions of R-51.
Love this Science live video, Thanks Acellus.
Competition makes for better product since it leads to industries wanting to outdo the others in that group, leading to more satisfaction.
Thanks for the reminders about Science Live.
Wow, for a science live episode I’m impressed
science is one of my favorite subjects!

Dr. billings is the best!
This science live was really cool because Dr. Tobias talked about the Leyden jar which is a battery back in the 1700s!
I find the activities so fun and I appreciate how you have to do your goals so that I complete them. I also enjoy how you can do math tiles so I can get better!
I am thankful Dr. Joshua was able to clear up some of my questions and concerns about Science Live and the attendance system.
I have never heard of Hydrogen Powering before, but it seems to bring good benefits to many.
