Inventioneering
November 26, 2025 • EPISODE 288
What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

This is great, Acellus. Thanks for posting!
Dr Roger Billings is fantastic, I wish more things were hydrogen powered!
I can’t wait to see the upcoming Science Live on the radio waves experiment.
Love watching R51! thank you for the good laugh
I bet inventing batteries is cool
I thought it was interesting with the planes with the really long “noses” and how they can produce a sonic boom.
This episode was wonderful, can’t wait for the next one.
Roger is the best!
Why did they make a law about subsonic booms?
Science is a wonderful tool that humans have created
science live always makes me smile
When was science live first started?
such a fun episode, keep up the good work!!
Talking about the supersonic jet, where does the boom come from? – Liam
Watching from NM ☺︎
I love how it always starts off with a little joke 🙂
Loved the R-51.
Roger billings always makes it easy to understand!
These are great tips for participating science lives!
Imagination and curiosity can change the world
Learning about the Leyden Jar Was great. Dr B inspires to create and invent! Looking foward to the next Science Live episode.

Rechargeable batteries are my favorite, I think its better for the environment.
Loved this live! Favorite one in a while!!!
I wonder who coined the term inventioneering, I’ve only heard it on science live.
Inventions are the coolest thing ever. Can’t wait till I invent something
Adversities in life helps challenge people to be better, do better, and become more grateful. It inspires new creations. It can also balance dopamine, the feel good neurotransmitter. I’m very grateful to have this opportunity to learn more.
How does electricity help split hydrogen atoms from oxygen atoms?
Another amazing Science Live!!
I like Dr. Billings he must have fun learning about science.
Inventioneering is a fun word to say!
I wonder what a sonic boom actually sounds like? some jets can go faster than the speed of sound, it is actually legal illegal to fly that fast over land because the noise is so loud its disturbing to people: so they are working on a lot that makes less noise and goes is fast as the speed of sound. This will make it legal to fly over land.
Hello from Utah! Thanks for the science live today! Happy Holidays!
Dr Roger Billings is so amazing!
This was a fun one!
I liked the sonic boom Tech talk. It’s crazy that we can break the sound barrier. The fact the he’s watching a screen instead of looking out a window is fascinating.
Was Ben Franklin the first to come up with the idea of positive and negative charges?
Amazing live Dr Roger billing!
Thank you for all these amazing classes!
this was good to learn how the combination of different aspects can help improve our every day lives.
I want to hang out with area 51!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone from Blythe Ga. I hope you all had a great day.
I enjoyed learning about the leyden jar. I want one!
I just want to say in the spirit of when this episode aired, I’m so thankful for the scholarship program! I’m going to use the “write a book” function soon because I love to tell stories, it’d be cool to write one down!
I love having the opportunity to learn more about science!
I am thankful for Acellus!
I am not much for inventing; however, I am a painter, and the process of creation is very similar.
So, if they are designing a jet to reduce the sound barrier, does that mean that there might be extremely fast plane travel?
This was so fun happy thanks giving everyone!
I know I keep saying “This has got to be the best episode!” and I mean it but they just keep getting better and better!
Less then a thud how?
Thank you for this very cool episode!
I love these video It’s one of my daily entertainment.
happy holidays from Georgia
Watching from Colorado!
Hi from AZ
thankful that he woke up one day and decided to invent the things he invented.
Thank you for sharing this.
That jet was really cool
Wonderful episode! Thank you so much for everything!
I like how the nose for the Concord can move
R-51 is so funny!!!! hahaha
R 51 will always be my favorite part.
How long would a flight from New York to Paris be in that plane, also what was in the Latin jar?
All vehicles should be hydrogen powered.
These teach me so much
Ejoyed R-15 segment.
What is the mindset of a successful inventor.
These videos have really made Science fun! Thank you for the amazing work you do.
Inventions are fascinating
I liked how they showed the vision of what the pilot sees, I find this interesting because I like planes a lot
Dr Roger Billings is amazing
R51 is the best way to make you laugh
I’m just impressed with all the new things I’m learning, thanks for sharing your knowledge
I love Science Live!
That jet design was quite interesting.
I enjoyed this episode of science live!
Which part of inventioneering is usually the hardest for beginners?
How beneficial would the material theyre trying to create be for hydrogyen powered appliances
Who made the laden jar and what year was it.
Dr Billings is a great professor
Cool way to get hydrogen from a roof!
What would happen to the supersonic plane if the cameras didn’t work?
Dr. Billings, you know so much about all things science!
it would be cool if we had hydrogen powered cars
I loved learning about engineering it was so cool to learn about!
I’m thankful for acellus
I loved the video can’t wait for next week’s video 😁
I liked this video a lot I learned a lot thanks.
this was a really good video
The airplane story was the best!
I liked the guy with the electrical liquid and the evolution of batteries.
I wonder when their going to take that jet to it’s max speed.
R-51 was really cool in the video.
Science live is cool to watch.
Hi from New Jersey~
Can we have a episode about how close nasa is to launch the artamies missions
Hey, guys! Good episode as always. I feel as if I should answer the description’s question, so here it goes. I think what it takes to make an idea come to life is mostly takes the ability to never stop trying no matter what obstacles come your way. That takes serious might and determination! Take the Wright Brothers for example. Without them giving it their all from troubleshooting to perfecting their invention of the airplane! They created such a thing back in the day after all.
I would like to see more videos like this!
I love science lives!! Happy late thanksgiving
Wow this was so cool, I learned a lot!
great video! liked the tech section.
Always like R-51. And it is always good to be Thankful. Happy Thanksgiving

Morse code really evolved man
The process of creating something is truly fascinating!
“Inventioneering” is such a fun word!
It is so cool that sciences helps us do things we could only dream of!
I liked to know that the airplane wing moves so the pilot can see.
I love how the announcer always starts with a joke. He’s so funny! “Put the turkey in at 180 degrees” lol! And speaking of activities, I don’t think you want to do this, but could you add a music creating activity? Like writing melodies?
Great live! I hope you had a good holiday!
You know how cool it would be if all of the houses of the work could be power by hydrongen!!!
I had no idea Ben Franklin was why there is positive and negative charge for the battery placement. Very cool
Morse code is so neat! Thanks for this class
Benjamin Franklin is so cool, is there anything else he had done for huge influence changes?

I can barely understand the genius of dr roger billings. What an amazing guy.
I didn’t realize it was against the law for aircrafts to make a sonic boom
how did you come up with the different things you teach in the live videos?
A hydrogen powered oven, my Mom would love that.
How fast is supersonic speed?
I love using Acellus!
I think R-51’s version of code might be a little easier to remember
