Inventioneering

November 26, 2025Ā  •  EPISODE 288

What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

What does inventioneering look like in today’s world where many thoughts and ideas are already invention, are already engineered, are more than anything we could ever originally brainstorm/create? If we were to inventioneer something in such a world of already accomplished ideas, then are we more creative than anyone before? Inventioneering is like a main thesis to earn a PHD, where everything you’ve brainstormed before is simply a recollection of already discovered ideas/patents/creations, whereas your main thesis attempts to expand the ideas by breakthrough conclusions, expanding our previous and collective circle of knowledge.
