Inventioneering
November 26, 2025 • EPISODE 288
What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

I want to do my own experiments with a transistor radio.
my favorite part was when they were talking about space , space is very special to me and i learned a lot about space so thank you science live.
What’s the best way to get into mechanical engineering?
Thank you for explaining the experiments in depth!
I learned about the scientific method.
Hello from south Carolina
How are regular airplanes so loud that we can hear them from the ground when they are in the sky?
Hello from North carolina! this was a very interesting science live.
Awesome science live this week!
Looking forward to the next science live!!
Why did you and the other students run from the front of the airplane to the back and vice versa?
This science live was great!
I love Acellus!
I love Acellus Academy!
Its insane that batteries are that old.
From Florida, thank you for the scholarship.
Does R 51 actually make his own things or does he just get all of his ideas from Dr. Billings.
I love learning with Acellus gold!
I enjoy science live so much!
this video was very cool.
This was really cool!
love this!
That was so cool poor ben
Science live is the best and the UFO was funny
I found it very interesting how batteries have changed over the years.
I like technology and the fact I have done it before. Also I didn’t know that batteries were made a long time ago.
R 51, you really outdid yourself this time! You. Are. Hilarious! You should be a comedian!
That’s crazy how you can’t see out of the airplane except through the cameras
Wow, I really love Acellus!
The adjustable nose for those planes are incredibly fascinating!
I find these videos very interesting.
Great video acellus thank you for this video
I didn’t know that they made quadruple A batteries.
I loved the 180 joke it made me laugh.
hello from jersey
I love Science Live so much!
I love playing with our Snap Circuit board! Cool way to learn about electricity!
Some inventions have made life easier
I like to listen to dr. Billings
That was an amazing episode I love science live!!
It’s interesting to see how batteries have come a long way yet you wouldn’t think of how old they are. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
What are NASA’s plans for using the X-59 technology once the quiet supersonic tests are finished?
The plane is so cool!
Why would a bigger battery not increase the volts?
Great lesson this week!
Science Lives are so cool!
Do you like Orion’s Belt? Yeah, I give it three stars.
Great video! This entertains me more than any other teen social media platform. Thank you Mr. Billings!
what invention should I make when I grow up
The X-59 looks wild!!
I love science live!
Hello from NC!
I enjoyed this video.
Thank you for another good episode of Science Live! I really enjoyed it!
I love these lives!
What happens if the screens on the end of the jet’s nose malfunction?
I did not know batteries were invented so long ago.
Happy holidays from South Carolina. Again love these presentations as it put science into real world practicality. Science made fun of
Why is there terbulance when flying?
these science live are very informational
this is the best episode ever!!!
It’s good to know about the scholarship. 😊
I always learn something new from these science live videos.
Aircrafts are so cool!
Science Live is great thank you for this opportunity…..
Loved this live!
how do you “split” water
this is the best episode ever!
is the latest moon landing cleaner with how hard it was to land because tech advanced
i love jets and planes!
Happy Thanksgiving from Texas
Hello from Missouri
Wow batteries are old
the down pointed nose looks so cool!
Hello from Louisiana
i love science!
What does the jar do?
The history behind that Leyden jar is very fascinating.
I had no idea why batteries were called batteries, that is so cool.
The history behind batteries was interesting to learn about
this is the BEST episode ever!!
I love science live! It’s my favorite.
Thank you for the Science Live Video it helped me a lot
How long did the Wright brothers fly for?
Does the shape of the airplane change the way it flies?
Hi from Texas everyone
I hope everyone had an amazing thanksgiving. Also I loved this episode
Thank you Acellus!!
Inventing is super cool for scientist
Happy Thanksgiving Acellus.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Dr. r51 really!? I don’t think we should let r51 be a doctor!;)
I thought that the Leyden jar was super interesting. I never knew that that was the starting point of what was to become batteries! A very useful invention.
This weeks science live is amazing!
Wow! I never knew that the Leyden Jar would turn into the 9volt battery!
This was pretty cool. I like how a battery is an older technology than many would initially think. Even if not all of them are electrical energy, but rather chemical, it’s still interesting nonetheless.
Science rocks!
What year did they invent the battery.
I have learned a lot from this video so thank you for this video
Hello from Virginia
I love Science Live! Thank you for making all of the videos you do, they are so educational!
Science Live has definitely brought out the creativity in me with all these videos!
The short plane story was very funny lol
Be Thankful always specially as we are all part of the Acellus Family. Thank you for all these amazing years as part of my education journey. I am now in my senior year and I wish you all the best. Acellus has been the best education experience.
Thank you for this video
My favorite part is when Dr. John talked about the x-59 jet
Happy Thanksgiving from Spain!!
I found this episode of Science Live to be very informational and intriguing.
I hope all of you had an amazing Thanksgiving Day in Acellus. Specially Mr. Mark Rogers which is my favorite math teacher and Dr. Billings and Ms. Pajet Monet who I admire so much.
Thank You for the Science Live.
What’s the difference between a plane’s inner workings and a car’s?
I love science live!
That was really cool learning how batteries were made.
This was a very cool science live.

Wow, this was really interesting!
Hello from southern USA
Hello from idaho
I didn’t know the concord nose can move up and down so they can see when landed.
NASA is making a plane that has no sonic boom sound.
I learned how a 9 volt battery was invented.
Learned a little more about Morse code.
r51 is awesome 😂
When you learn about how to this and the process of how to go about it what does the next steps you take to engineer a new product with problems such as patents etc.
I LOVE ACELLUS ACADEMY!
When they talked about the first battery, when it started as a mass jar. Then they talked about the first plane that can travel through sound waves.
Hi from Georgia
how do you make a invention
This was a very great science live! I love these! Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!
Hello from Louisiana, I really love Science Live! and it is so helpfulland it teaches you. When do you think this new complex on metal will be available to purchase or use?
Hope yall had a great thanksgiving! Batteries are that old?! wow!
Hi from Tennessee!
