Inventioneering
November 26, 2025 • EPISODE 288
What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

I love the little jokes at the beginning of the lives every week!
I always learn something new watching Science Live
I love writing books in the activities folder. it is so much fun!
Would it be possible for the sonic boom to be absorbed instead of dispersing?
Acellus is the best!
I think its a cool story behind how Ben Franklin coined the name for the battery!
R-51 is so funny!
i didn’t know that’s how batteries were named
very cool science live
I love learning more about Roger Billings’s life. Especially him visiting the navy ship!
I was unaware that planes could travel that fast!
R.51 Rocks
Thanks for the Science live! Be grateful for every blessing, big or small, Happy Thanksgiving!
Do you have to wear special gear to go faster than the speed of sound?
R51 always makes me laugh.
I feel like R51 just completes science live so well, he’s great! Happy Thanksgiving!
Researchers are coming up with a new complex of metal that has special properties
What a fun story, I’d love to fly a jet one day. My uncle is a pilot and I’d love to do that too.
R51 was extra funny today for some reason
humans are so amazing when they put their minds to it, there are so many ways now a days to invent stuff, wether it technology inventions, or by stuff like painting, crocheting, baking, ect, I find it so fascinating how you look at everything in the world and say “wow, a person came up with that” it’s fascinating!
Science live was really cool! I never knew that airplanes had that long of a nose. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Week!
i love r51 he is so funny and dr john is very informitive
R.51 and the space ship was really funny
I love learning new things every week r.51 is so funny
Thank you this science live was awesome. I especially liked the part of the X 59 I think it’s cool that they’re finally making an aircraft that can go past the speed of sound and does not make a sonic. Boom.
I really like Acellus and science Live
Why is the sky blue?
How aerodynamics have changed and adapted to new airplane sizes and shapes to stabilize balance and the ability for pilots being able to see for landings, etc is remarkable.
first of all, I’d just like to say that netflix and disney off my phone because there is no other tv show I need to watch except science live. Second, um, I love these videos,But I didn’t really get why the airplane needed in needle nose. If we could just dive into the science behind that I’d love that.
Inventioneering is cool!
How can we invent something to help make cleaning up our toys easier?
My favorite part was the part about the jets, I thought that was very interesting
We love Acellus!
Gratitude is the best!

I may have struggles in my life but also have many reasons to be thankful
Science Live is such a great activity! I can learn so much by just watching these videos.
It would be very cool if commercial supersonic planes will be available again thanks to Nasa’s discovery. 🙂
I wonder how they created this metal that can split water into hydrogen and oxygen? That’s so cool!
in theory would it be possible to make a plane that travels at the speed of light or approaching?
I rode in a plane before and when they told me the top speed I was like NO WAY. If I wanna join the Live on Wednesday, what time do I join in.
I love science💕
I love working in learning activities. Write a book is one of my favorites. I write about my family and friends. I get to be creative and practice my words at the same time. Thank you for making learning fun.
