Inventioneering

November 26, 2025  •  EPISODE 288

What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

The X-59 jet is honestly crazy. The fact that they’re designing it to reduce the sonic boom into more of a “sonic thump” is crazy. It feels like a huge step toward bringing back supersonic travel and I really want to try it one day.

The UFO probably came because it heard SOS (Save Our Ship), and aliens always come to help when their friends are in danger (definitely factual information). Also, I want to see how fast that plane can really go, hopefully saying it can go at the speed of sound wasn’t part of the reason its nose is so long!

Happy Late Thanksgiving! Isn’t it beautiful how everyone can become inventors but in different ways? You can invent something with science, or invent a new recipe. You can also invent a song, or invent a book series. You can invent pretty much anything your heart desires! Everyone has their own unique ideas, and it’s so cool how anyone can create something that brings a new perspective to the table! Thank you for all the teaches allowing us to learn amazing things everyday, and spark new ideas for the generations to come! God Bless! 💗
