Inventioneering
November 26, 2025 • EPISODE 288
What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

What batteries are currently being used for transistor radios? More specifically, what type of batteries do we currently put in modern transistor waves? Are they stronger than the 9 volt ones we used to implement in them? Or, are they updated to be smaller and portable for these radio’s current sizes?
The plane NASA made looks silly but also cool, and having cameras and screens instead of windows sounds like such a cool idea.

consistency is key to unlock knowledge
I like the r-51 Morse code best
I liked Dr. Joseph part because, I was wondering about the full one credit from watching the Science Lives 100 times in a row. And also, since the days have switched I can never attend the science lives anymore on the exact night, because of my religious practices fall on the same day and hour. I liked Tobias part because, batteries are a big part of todays society, I feel like everything needs batteries.

How long until NASA starts Producing more of the x59 jet? Or is it still far off, because they’re still testing it and finding errors and it’s design right now?
Hi from Kentucky 😀
Loved the episode and learning about the origin of batteries. As always I loved hearing about Dr. Billings’ stories, they never fail to make me smile or laugh. I also saw the new ad for Dr. Todd Edmond’s new classssssssss, I am very excited for that as well! I hope you all have a fantastic thanksgiving and an amazing rest of you week! (ps I was wheezing so hard while I watched R-51 loose his mind making his own code.
