    Morse code was quite interesting, as they just made a machine making a bunch of dots and lines, and they used it to communicate.

    My papa had ham radios, he said he used to wait until nighttime and chat to people in other countries back before the internet made things like that possible. He said he had to have a license or something in order to be able to talk to people.

    It was enjoyable learning about the history of Morse code. When I was younger my dad taught my sister and I how to communicate “SOS” distress calls using a flashlight and with tapping. It’s an important skill to have!
