My dad loves HAM radio and I like listening to the people on there.
Fluorescent coral is so cool!
Wow, I had no idea that coral would behave in such a colorfull way!
Those coral are pretty and do look like flowers! I love flowers!
It would be awesome if there was a Morse code course.
Fun fact about Corals: They are ancient animals, related to jellyfish and sea anemones, that are vital to the ocean ecosystems, supporting 25% of all marine life despite covering less than 1% of the ocean floor. And some coral colonies can live for thousands of years, and many can naturally produce fluorescent pigments, potentially to protect themselves or help their symbiotic algae with photosynthesis!
I never knew that reefs were alive or that it had so many features.
Morse code should be added to the activity section!
I love Acellus!
The size of the invention is not as important as the impact of its use. The watch is an amazing example of this.
Learning that coral is actually alive was very interesting.
I think a Morse code class would be cool
Those 14 seconds must have been the most suspenseful seconds to ever be experienced by any person
I love how interesting science live is!
A course on aviation would be amazing!
the fact that we can communicate from such long distances is amazing and we can even see eachother not just speaking its truly incredible.
I really enjoyed this episode! The concept of radio waves is cool
This was a great video! I learned alot of new information. The history of the Omega watch traveling to space was amazing to me.
Oh wow! Radio waves are so cool! I had so much fun learning about them!
Radios are used for music and transmissions. Without radios communication is hard.
it is cool that the Omega Watch Company received the Snoopy Award from NASA!
my mom did not know any of that. Neither did I.
Thank you so much for making these episodes, I love them and I love watching them!
I never would have thought that constant working would build a greater mind like that.
I really enjoyed this episode! I found the concept of radio waves very cool and interesting, and knowing how important they really are!
Learning about radio waves and how many cool things it has led too is fun! Ham radios are really cool too. My dad has one that he keeps ready to grab if needed.
I loved learning more about radio waves that I did not know. I cannot wait for next weeks science live.
I am interested in a pilot class.
I would be interested in a helicopter pilot class!
Radio waves are kind of magical when you think about them, traveling invisibly through the air, carrying music, voices, and signals across huge distances without us ever seeing a thing.
I would be interested in the pilot class.
Thank you Acellus
My favorite part was about the Apollo missions I thought it was very interesting that the omega watch passed every single test and the company received the snoopy award.
I enjoy watching Science Live!
R51 is very funny in this episode. I would like more R51 in every episode.
I LOVE SCIENCE live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is interesting to learn about how there are lasers that are able to cool things down, especially because it is the opposite of what you would be quick to imagine when the thought of lasers comes up.
Yes please , I wana be a pilot.
I think a course on aviation/ becoming a pilot would be interesting.
Do AM and FM stations have a difference in radio wave frequencies?
Radio waves are so cool.
I love Acellus! It makes school fun.
I think that it is interesting that lasers can be used to cool things down and that diamonds are a good semi conductor!
It is amazing that a watch saved peoples lives in outer space!
I think that there should be an Acellus activity that teaches Morse code!
Thank you for sharing this information.
What happens when two or more frequencies cross over each other
I really enjoyed this episode! I appreciate it.
Watching Science live is always so fun and entertaining. Can’t believe radio waves could melt my chocolate bar.
Radio waves are everywhere! So cool.
I had never heard of the FCC before! I thought it was interesting that they are a part of the U.S. government that manages radio waves and broadcast! I guess when listening to the radio I don’t think about wave links or how it works!
I really liked this episode today. The concept of radio waves very cool and interesting and knowing how important they really are!
I wanna start getting myself into a nice schedule where I can study my work and learn more, really inspired by what I’ve heard!!
Can radio waves interact or interfere with brain waves
How far can radio waves travel through water?
I would love a radio and a helicopter course
The coral is really cool and I have some fish that is kind of like it because they look cooler under a blue light and have bright colors.
I’ve always enjoyed learning about space, and about the discoveries with it, so I found the watch interesting. I didn’t know a watch could pass all those tests, but it’s really cool that it did!
Acellus is a very helpful site for me and my family.
Science live is great
This live was great love the lizard thing
Fun Episode!!
I love trying to memorize morse code in my free time. It is very fun to do in quiet areas.
I really enjoyed watching this episode! Thank you for breaking it down in such an engaging way!
Coral has so many colors that I never knew! I really enjoyed these videos!
I never knew that coral was alive, or that it had so many colors. That actually amazing.
That was cool about the northern lights 🙂
I enjoyed listening to Dr. Tobias talk about the Omega watch. I didn’t know that the watch played such a huge factor, to help the astronauts make it back from space. I agree about the student, who developed a daily study routine, this can help you retain the lessons. Dr. John’s information was really cool, the colors of the corals were so bright. Hard to believe that those are so far below the ocean.
These lives teach students so much new information, and it always makes you wanna know more, Thank You!!
I really enjoy watching these lives it teaches students so much new information, and it always makes you wanna know more, Thank you!!
I watching these lives there so interesting
I really like science live!
Love the podcast Dr.Billings
If you could see all the radio waves around us, what would the world look like?
l love science!
Why is it called a ham radio?
That’s awesome! I did not know that coral was so colorful and lively.
Learning about astronauts and space is so cool to me! Thank you for a great episode of Science Live!
Thank you for another episode, I appreciate always getting to do my school on acellus 🙂
I never knew that a laser can cool something down. I would have thought that a laser would have heated it up rather than cooling it.
How is it possible for a black light make light
how do you make a radio wave stronger?
I think this video was awesome because of the jokes. and I would love a Morse code class
How do radio waves differ from visible light waves in terms of their wavelength and frequency?
I’m pretty sure radio waves are light waves and they are longer wave lengths.
It’s amazing how radio waves can travel around the world even though we can’t see them.
I think the great barrier reef is so cool. So many different types of sea life over 1,500 species of fish!
I do agree that studying is easier when you don’t cram everything in because in public school I didn’t learn anything new because they kept trying to cram information into my brain in 8 hours, but here I learn better becuse its spanned out
I found the concept of radio waves very cool and interesting, and knowing how important they really are!
The student that got a good score on the SAT used a good method of study that I would like to imitate!
I didn’t know “CQ” means “seek you”.
The snoopy award was amazing.
I loved this science live;)
how can radio waves be used for talking ?
What causes radio wave currents to grow stronger?
This is one of my favorite videos! I never knew about the coral facts.
i really like coral reefs because theyre beautiful, but i didnt know the science behind them
It is crazy that the history of the Omega watch and the important role it played in the Apollo mission as well as other missions, is not more widely known. It is very interesting!
I think it is so interesting that radio waves were discovered by a chocolate bar melting in someones pocket.
I love how NASA used snoopy!
🥰
I love r-51
It would be awesome if there was a class for morse code – it’s so useful!
this video was perfect timing my family and I were just talking about radio waves.
It would be cool if morse code could count as a foreign language. I’d love to learn it either way, though. It’s so useful
It was awesome to learn about how radio waves work about the Morris code with how communication was back then. I think they would be great additions to have the hand radio class and helicopter class for learning. Thank you for always going above and beyond creating new learning possibilities.
I never knew about the omega watches, it’s similar the pens they developed for space.
I love getting to learn new things every time I watch these lives, They are all very inspiring.
good job to all those people who designed those shirts! thatnk you dr roger billings for making these videos i really like them
thats so cool that coral is alive i never knew that! the colors are gorgeous too
I really love learning the new things each week that they teach! Lei’Lana
loved the live!
Why do things fluoresce?
I had no idea how important time really was for space exploration and the fact that people had to design a specific watch that could work and function for the astronauts without issues is also really incredible.
what happens if two or more frequencies cross over one another
Thank you Acellus for this video
I would absolutely love the aviation class, I already thought about become a pilot!
My grandfather knew how to use Morse code, he was in the navy.
I love this weeks science live.
I think a helicopter pilot class would be cool.
i really like r 51
This was my favorite episode so far it was very funny and entertaining! Thank you Acellus!
What age do you have to be to get a ham radio license?
Thank you Acellus! I LOVE watching these videos it’s so cool to learn about Everything I mean EVERYTHING you guys talk about. I can’t wait for next week!
What’s the northern lights made from?
Radio waves travel so far!
I think it’s awesome that you turned someone’s artwork into reality.
The great barrier reef is the largest coral reef, correct? I’d love to visit it someday!
I LOVE LEARNING
I would love a morse code course!
I love coral and R51!!
Thank you Acellus
I never knew that coral was alive
I really enjoyed this episode! I found the concept of radio waves very cool and fascinating! and knowing how important they really are!
The way radio waves work is a really cool concept, same goes for light waves and sound waves!! Science is a very cool topic to learn about!
I love how complex coral really is
it’s always a blast watching science live
Mr. Billings is awesome!!!
Yes to the Helicopter Pilot and HAM Radio Operator
How far do the radio waves go? Does it go for a mile 2 miles or alot longer?
R51 was so funny I loved the gift from mars!
I really enjoyed this episode and the concept of radio waves just never fails to wow me!
What else could we use lazers for?
Hi from Georgia and thanks for the study tips!
I love Acellus and this is only my first week.
This episode was one of the best!!
i didn’t know lasers could cool down things that’s cool!
wow the concept of radio waves is wild I didn’t know how great they are
This was so good! I can’t wait for next week’s video.
Thank you Acellus. I love this
Radio waves are so cool!
I ❤️ science live
R51 little friend was cute and cool, I’ve never seen one of those toys be able to climb the wall. This video was one of the coolest ones yet.🦎
It’s cool that the astronauts get to choose who gets the trophie
This is my first full week with Acellus and I love it!!!
They say that morse code can go over radio waves and that was cool to know.
When radios produce sound waves, about how long does it take for the sound to travel to your ears?
This is so neat!
I loved the bioluminescense part the glowing parts were good and the black light on the thing and i never knew coral was alive.
I found it very interesting in the Apollo 13 how they use the omega watch to count the second to turn on the burner and turn it off to be able to hit earth and not miss. It did not know that.
I like the Omega watch that went to the moon. I would learn more about this.
A radio course sounds cool.
The megabyte joke was funny!
wow who knew corals were more than just pretty sea plants
I never knew that lasers can cool things down, I always thought that they just are super hot and they just heat things up. That’s really unique!
the fluorescent colors look beautiful and corals are ALIVE
I think that a ham radio activity and Morse code course would be really interesting, and the idea of a pilot course could really help to inspire a future generation of pilots who didn’t even know it was their dream yet. On that note, I think that high school courses catering to larger genres of career paths would assist students in finding what they want to do in the future or go to college for.
The coral facts were very interesting. The Omega watch, making it to the moon and still working, is so cool! I never knew a watch could survive in space until now. I always wanted to learn about Morse code because it seems extremely cool! You taught me a few things about Morse code, and I am very thankful. I also think it would be really cool to have a HAM Radio Course/Class. I would definitely take it!
If a class for Morse code is added I hope it’s also for the elementary kids as well.
I have a study plan too! It really helps!
I think the pilot classes would be really cool
Hey Dr. Roger’s I have a question for you. How old were you when you got your radio tower? Also I just wanna say great Science Live. Love you R-51! Lovely to see you Lady Pajet you are so pretty and awesome!
My moms biggest wish is to see the northern lights.
This has definitely been one of my favorite Science Live episodes yet!
I didn’t know everything in space was timed!!
Science is so cool😎
The snoopy award sounds cool my mom loves snoopy
How are radio waves different from sound waves? Is it possible for them to interfere with each other? if so that’s so cool.
I want to know more about radio waves. My favorite subject is science. Very interesting.
Ham Radio sounds so fun!
Yes, it would be so nice to have an aviation class!
