When I was little, I would get my mom to buy me magnet toys to play with. I would sit down and play with magnets for hours.
My brother said magnetism and gravity are linked. Is this true?
I love learning about magnets and the magnetic field!
We looked at the store. There’s some cool stuff on there!
So that’s what helped make the hydrogen engine. Cool!
Never thought about all the ways magnet are used in everyday life
It’s crazy how magnets have such a big impact on a lot of things! These videos are awesome!
Wow! How brilliant it was to turn the valve upside down and close it with the explosion versus just the pressure of the hydrogen!
I really enjoyed learning about the SR-71 and how it was originally called the RS-71. I thought the invention of it was so interesting! I also was shocked by the jet that traveled from New York to London in under 2 hours!
Magnets are awesome.
When I was little I thought magnets were magic. So cool to learn the science of them.
this has to be my favorite episode yet
The Breakthrough Moments in Science segment is definitely my favorite part in these lives, I look forward to them every time!
This is awsome thank you Roger billings
It’s fascinating the way magnetism works
Wow! Magnetic power gets two thumbs up.
Magnetism is so cool
Magnetism is like magic but real🧲🪄
I have always loved to learn more about magnets.
Love the octopus arm!
So Cool! Love the Star Wars comments. And the octopus/spiral arm demonstration was very interesting.
Magnets are so weird! They’re so involved with our lives, but still so hard to understand… this video has helped with my understanding just a little bit more!
now i know the story of the SR-71 thanks for sharing
So cool
What a cool video!!
Magnetism is very interesting.
I learned bamboo is used to make lightbulbs and they use a vacuum to get all the air out
Cool interesting facts about magnets and how they work.
Why were magnets made?
I’ve learned a lot of magnet facts in this amazing video 😀
where would we be without magnets honeslty
R 51 is so funny every time he on science live. He’s my favorite person on science live ( except for The Big R )
Wow
This was a very cool video!
Do they think that is how an octopuses arms work?
awesomeee
It’s always amazing to me how scientists think outside of the box to try so many different things when inventing stuff.
this was a cool video explaining how magnets And electromagnets are essential to Scientific innovation. thanks
It’s crazy how magnets have such a big impact on a lot of things
great video!
Very Cool!!
coolll
I researched what that octopus arm was, and its called Spirobs. I thought that it was crazy cool!
Can gold get magnetized???
I will have to ask my mom to watch Star wars now! This was a very cool lesson!
Can’t lie I love the Star Wars Comments and I love the cool slide show of the Octopus arm!!!
Magnetism is so cool!
First, I think that the jokes at the beggining were great. Second, Tobias, where did you get your airplane blueprint tie? I would love one for myself!
Call 911! R51 has been attacked!
Can magnets rust just like metal?
thank you.
I liked when Snakey-51 bit R-51 because that was silly to me
Magnets are really cool and I have lots of fun just messing around with them!
This is amazing. Magnets are cool
Magnets helped with many inventions
Q:
Why did the magnet go to the party?
A:
To find its magnetic personality and attract new friends! But be careful, it might also pick up some unwanted metal guests along the way.
“Remember, in the world of Fun with Magnetism, it’s all about attraction, not repulsion!”
Dr. B is very smart. So glad we have him as a teacher too.
Hello everyone! Comment on this post if y’all want to meet Dr. Roger Billings!!!
Well can never go wrong when using a Star Wars example! As always very interesting.
I would definitely like to ride in the in that airplane to think that it travels so fast is crazy!!
What is the most interesting fact about a magnet?
Dr. B’s knowledge is extraordinary! I am shocked every time by how much he knows.
how does the fake octopus arm pick stuff up vertically? and is there a limit to the weight it can pic k up ?
Very interesting video
This episode was really interesting
I was one of the original designers for the RS-71, it was a fun plane to build.
cool
magnetism is just like magic
R-51 is so funny
Wow that was really cool it’s so interesting how that works!
Wow that jet is beyond amazing! This is my favorite video so far, it’s amazing a missle shot at that jet over 1,000 times and didn’t get hit! And going to NY to London! I searched that it takes five hours to go from NY to London but with the jet it said it can take 1:55! I hope there is more videos like this! Thank you.
I love Star Wars definitely made me listen a little harder to the video !!
Did the direct Hydrogen injection valve operate well over long term?
Snakey-51 is soo cute!
How do you make the octopus arm?
Really fun video!!
The octo-bot arm was definitely the highlight for me
Its neat how a curved snake like tale or arm can move in that many directions
Nice! 🧲
Nice video
Catching back up on the live streams! Though this episode was very good especially When Dr. Billings did his demonstration with the bell contraption towards the end! thanks.
when is the science fare
in one epispde it was talking about a rubix cube it was so cool does anyone know if it is real?
wow!
Ilove this science live because it talks about all the uses of electromagnets and how you can make them. I am going to make an electromagnet and do very cool expiriments with it to see if it has any limits. I never realized how easy they are to make and now I’m going to have a lot of fun with the one I’m about to make.
Cool Stuff!!!
The octopus arm is a really cool concept. What are they planning to use this for in the real world. It would be interesting to see how this is applied to the real world.
Star Warssss yayyy!!
Magnetism is such a cool topic to think about! I learned so many things today thank y’all!
omg I LOVE that guy at the start of literally every scinece live video. i call him “The Comedy
Guy”. XD Whats that dude’s name? ALSO… why’d they remove the hilarious Pajet intros???? I miss them… 🙁
the aircraft melting is the only limiting factor to its top speed, That is astonishing to me.
How fast would they have to be to activate the ram jet?
I really enjoyed this topic, I would like to take that flight from NY to London in 1 hour and 55 minutes. I wish all travel could be that fast. I also enjoyed learning about the Astro Inertia Navigation system (ANS) and its reference to R2D2 in Star wars. That was really cool!
I love the Star Wars references! Overall this was a very interesting video!
Thank you
Huh, that Jet is interesting.
I like this video it was very interested ,i love magnetism . Hope i see more videos like this.
crazy what it is and how it works
Wow, that was really fun. Thanks!!
Theres plans to build a functioning darkstar
R-51 responded to ni=NO INTELLGENS and that’s what I read.
It’s an amazing livestream like always :3 magnetism sound like fun topic to learn
Hello from. Georgia . Missed this live on wednesday. doing it today
I learned that when you have a bolt, and you wrap it around with some wire it turns into an electromagnet.
I learned that the octopus does this thing where it quarrels back and then it reaches back and then as soon as it touches the object then it starts wrapping and then when it’s wrapped it tightens.
That robot arm grabbing stuff is so insane! So is the jet! I just learned that the jet can go to Mach 3.3! I like how the coil becomes a magnet! Also, that so-called “Snake51” is not a real snake, and the “snake bite” was personal! 🤣🤣
Is this a continuation of the last one
It was good.I liked that video
It was good.I liked that video
Magnets can be found everywhere. I like walking around with my fridge magents to see what magentic objects i can find in my house
It’s cool the black paint helped with the heat.
looks fun!
I did not know that is where I can code, thanks for the information!
I did not know you can find the the north and south pole of a magnet on your own
Fascinating
Seraphine Clark watched this one we fell behind do to I was out of town for a week and she was with her grandmother. I thought they watched it. She watched this episode on Feb. 28. Thank You.
Filling the gas tank in the air seems crazy!
Why can metal become magnetized?
lots of fun
cool
interesting
cool
Hello, I am new to this academy and I am enjoy these videos.
every day someone is making or descuvering new things
Great. Thank you.
Great. Thank you.
Good show.
Good show.
I love magnets
What’s your favorite type of magnet
I love watching these videos
I once hit two magnets together and almost set my room on fire. why did it spark?
cool
wow, this is amazing
This is interesting thing about magnetism.
in the last epasode that you mad i have that same magnet
I love magnetism! Its like magic!🪄🪄
I all ways wanted to know how magnetism works.
it’s an exciting video
I think that the 3-D printed octopus tentacle was a very creative, and entertaining bit to watch.
Jet engines are crazy!
Magnets are awesome. I’m interested in the magnet I asked for from my father
Never knew how important magnets were in hydrogen engines.
I wonder what these robotic octopus arms are going to be used for. Construction, maybe? Humans have taken ideas from animals and used them for other things many times.
Did you know telescopes can measure magnetic fields by observing polarized light emitted by hot gas in space. The polarized light is affected by the magnetic field, which astronomers can use to measure the strength of the magnetic field.
interesting how magnets can pull an item right to it if it’s close enough. How close do you have to be?
awesome thank you for this information
Great video
That octopus tentacle was actually really cool, it’d take some time but I should 100% 3d print it. Are the files available online somewhere?
More on engines would be cool.
what makes magnets connect
how hot does the thing that presses down on it have to be to have the picture ingraved onto the shirt?
what is the strongest magnets in the world
The black plane they talked about is made of titanium, what is titanium?
Magnets are pretty cool!
Magnets are interesting
I wonder if you can make artificial Magnetic Fields and harnest energy from it. I also wonder if you can Just take a lot of magnet’s and make the magnet stronger. I should do an experiment on that.
Cool
How fun is magic in this world
How has nobody commented yet this was a treat for me! 🙂
Magnetism is one of the most entertaining parts of science.
r51 has been bitten twice now poor guy
Who discovered the magnetic field in the earth
Please be aware that we watched this episode and commented but it does not show on our account – there must have been some sort of glitch. We just want to make sure it doesn’t count against the scholarship since it is not showing! Thank you!
What are magnets made of?
Wow this was amazing! thankyou so much for this video.
I loved this Science Live
who created the turbo ram jet.
Very interesting video this week!
DR Billings, Could anybody go and buy a hydrogen car? and how much does hydrogen cost?
I always find magnets fascinating, and I find it very interesting how they were used to develop the hydrogen engine.
Did not know magnets that worked in the junkyards were electric magnets.
Magnets are so cool;
Thankyou for teaching me every week doctor billings
What is magnetism?
What was the first hydrogen vehicle your invention was tested on?
