i went out side in my backyard and i did the elephant toothpaste experiment it was cool to see all the colors pour out the little container it was foam and it was steaming the colors where green blue purple and yellow.

I took a summer chemistry class when I was 12, and it has been one of my favorite subjects ever since.
I once did an experiment with acids and alkalines for a cooking class, but mixing them resulted in them bubling up. I wonder what is going on and if there are any applications for acid-base reactions.
