Inventioneering

November 26, 2025  •  EPISODE 288

What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

I think it is cool the plane uses a screen instead of a window, but it might be dangerous if an enemy programmed the screen to simulate the environment in hopes of diverting the plane or crashing it.

They are experimenting with a jet called X59 to reduce the sonic bomb when flying over land. It has a very long noise on the jet to help dispense the noise. The engine is on top of the jet to help reduce noise as well. One disadvantage of the long nose, the pilot can not see, so they have a wrap around screen in the cockpit for the pilot to see. It makes it great cause they can see under the jet as well.
