Inventioneering

November 26, 2025  •  EPISODE 288

What does it really take to bring ideas to life? In this episode, Dr. Roger Billings takes us deeper into the world of inventioneering—the dynamic mix of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving that turns imagination into real-world inventions. He shows how inventioneering isn’t limited to tech or science—it can be applied to any creative or practical project. If you’ve ever had a spark of inspiration, this episode will help you learn how to shape it into something meaningful and impactful.

Benjamin Franklin was very innovative by expanding on his friend’s study, such as starting with Leyden jars to the development of positive and negative batteries. Indeed, technology advances faster when more inventioneers engage with each other and help inspire each other’s greatness towards future inventions.

In my opinion inventioneering is kind of like brainstorming as you invent you think of how to improve after one mistake allowing your brain to stay fresh and sharp by needing it to come up with a solution on the go and if it doesn’t work you just need to think harder until you get it right!
